Lafayette took an early 14-0 lead early in the second quarter but Bryan Station exploded for 33 unanswered points to take a 33-14 halftime lead on their way to a 53-21 victory.  Bryan Station recorded 18 first downs and 489 yards of total offense (444 in the first half).  The Defenders were penalized four times for 54 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Lafayette recorded 21 first downs and 388 yards of total offense.  Lafayette’s Malik Robinson had TD runs of 41 and 54 yards called back because of penalties.  The Generals were penalized twice for 20 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Ora Johnson led Bryan Station’s ground attack with 98 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  K-CI Carmichael carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Ora Johnson completed 16 of 23 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Tequan Claitt caught nine passes for 134 yards.  CJ Walker Jr. caught two passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns.  Keondre Bradley led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards.  Chris Jackson added three solo and five assisted tackles.  Andre Davis chipped in with five solo and two assisted tackles.  Jam Robertson added three solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Shane Preston recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Jesse Tudor added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards.  Jamar Brooks recovered two fumbles and Devon Key intercepted a pass he returned 75 yards for a touchdown.

Malik Robinson led Lafayette’s ground game with 115 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Kylan Nelson carried the ball 17 times for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Walker Wood completed six of 13 passes for 111 yards with one interception.  Michael Serafini and Dontavion Jackson each had two receptions for 68 and 41 yards respectively.  Kylan Nelson led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Evan Shaw added three solo and four assisted tackles.  Malik Robinson recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards.  Devon Quincey chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards and recovered a fumble.

Henry Clay rolled up 362 yards on the ground on 37 carries (9.8 average) to improve to 6-0 with a 41-21 victory over Madison Central.  Henry Clay recorded 17  first downs and 508 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 55 yards.  Madison Central recorded 17 first downs and 275 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized three times for 17 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Davion Jackson led Henry Clay’s ground game with 157 yards and three touchdowns on six carries.  Elijah Bell carried the ball 11 times for 147 yards and a touchdown.  Sammy Carter completed six of 13 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. Austin Black caught two passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns.  Colby Barnes also caught two passes for 47 yards.  Davonte Robinson led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Lakwon Givens added three solo and five assisted tackles.  Sydney Hugle recorded four solo and three assisted tackles and an interception that he returned 14 yards.

Johan Williams led Madison Central’s ground game with 63 yards on 20 carries.  Zach Hardin completed 15 of 30 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Caleb McClurg caught eight passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.  John Williams added two receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown.  Will Hinton led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles.  Jabari Huguely added two solo and seven assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss.

Lexington Catholic 34  Mercer County 6 – QB Reese Ryan completed 23 of 35 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns and David Bouvier caught 10 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown to lead the victors.

Henry Clay 34  Lafayette 23 – Elijah Bell carried the ball 31 times for 247 yards including touchdown runs if 51, 9, and 21 yards to lead Henry Clay.

Scott County 51  George Rogers Clark 13 – The Scott County ground attack was led by Kevin Clausen 14 carries 126 yards three touchdowns, Theo Price nine carries 117 yards one touchdown and Keith Guy four carries 115 yards two touchdowns.

Paul Laurence Dunbar 42  Madison Central 7 – AJ Williams carried the ball 13 times for 117 yards and scored on runs of 14, 68, and 1 yards.

Anderson County 48  Montgomery County 20 – Ross Cox scored on an 11 yard TD pass, an 88 yard kickoff return, and a 27 yard interception return to pace the victors.

Franklin County 42  West Jessamine 32 – Chris Roberts carried the ball 11 times for 208 yards and three touchdowns and Landon Hurst carried the ball five times for 121 yards and two touchdowns to lead Franklin County.  Devin Taylor carried the ball 39 times for 276 yards and two touchdowns to lead West Jessamine.

Beechwood 40  Holmes 7 – Kyle Fieger threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns to lead the victors.

Wayne County 41  Bell County 6 – Tyler Guffey completed nine of 11 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 65 yards and two touchdowns to lead Wayne County.

Collins 59  Atherton 6 – Lawson Page completed 10 of 16 passes for 193 yards and five touchdowns to lead Collins.

Perry County Central 47  Rockcastle County 37 – Nathan Pray threw TD passes of 38 and 14 yards and ran 54 yards for a score to lead the victors.

Boyle County 42  Taylor County 6 – Seph Burke carried the ball eight times for 105 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Rebels.

Danville 48  Green County 34 – Jawan Grey carried the ball 18 times for 297 yards including touchdown runs of 10, 48, 75, and 76 yards to lead Danville.

Pulaski County 61  Lincoln County 35 – Riley Hall completed 15 of 23 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 122 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and Aaron Smith ran for four touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass to lead the victors.

Somerset 42  Letcher County Central 7 – Castle Hatcher completed eight of 15 passes for 254 yards and TD passes of 90, 74, and 42 yards.  Cam Cheuvront caught six passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns.  Jordan Doan carried the ball 11 times for 120 yards and a touchdown and caught a 74 yard touchdown pass.

Casey County 61  McCreary County Central 6 – Colin Miller carried the ball four times for 101 yards including TD runs of 37, 12, and 52 yards to lead the victors.

Garrard County 29  Bath County 7 – Slade Crutchfield threw for two touchdowns and ran for another score to lead the victors.

Caldwell County 63  Ballard Memorial 28 – Elijah Sindelar completed 13 of 24 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball six times for 149 yards to lead Caldwell County.

Pikeville 77  Middlesboro 46 – Middlesboro suffered eight turnovers in this game.

South Oldham 34  Conner 32 – Chase Lightfoot threw for three touchdowns to lead the victors.  Drew Barker led Conner with 270 yards and two touchdowns passing and ran for a touchdown to lead Conner.

Elizabethtown defeated Bullitt Central by a score of 42-21.  Elizabethtown recorded nine first downs and 388 yards of total offense.  The Panthers were penalized twice for 22 yards and lost a fumble.  Bullitt Central recorded 22 first downs and 469 yards of total offense.  The Cougars were penalized nine times for 71 yards, lost and lost two fumbles.

Berneil Cecil led Elizabethtown’s ground attack with 254 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries.  Hunt. Sullivan completed three of six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.  Peyton Payne caught an 88 yard touchdown pass.  Tyson Brown led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Ja. Washington added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Jack Wilson chipped in with three solo and eight assisted tackles.

Trevor Carnell led Bullitt Central’s ground game with 272 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries.  Cameron Dukes completed 12 of 21 passes for 78 yards.  Tyler McCarthy caught five passes for 89 yards.  Jason Johns led the defense with four solo tackles.  Austin Calhoun added three solo and one assisted tackles.
