Players, Coaches, Parents & Fans,

This May issue contains a little bit of everything so let us begin:

First, I highly recommend rising seniors and juniors to make college recruiters aware of all events that you'll be playing in this spring and summer ASAP.  College coaches can then make plans on observing you.  For more recruiting tips, go to my web page at www.basketball-camp.net and click on the tab, RECRUITNG TIPS, located on the far right side of  the home page.

I have listed the typical schedule of my camps for college coaches who plan on attending at Georgetown College (KY) this summer:

Boys (June 23-27 and July 14-18):  Monday through Wednesday, games go nonstop from 10 AM until 11 PM.  The all-star games will take place Wednesday evening for both sessions beginning at 10 PM.  Thursday, a single elimination tournament is played between 8 AM and 3 PM.

Girls (June 28-29): Friday, two games are played between 4:30 PM and 10:30 PM.  Saturday, three games take place between 9 AM and 6 PM.

Camp programs are free to all college coaches and the following hotels in Georgetown are offering discounts for all parents and coaches by just mentioning the High Potential/Blue-Chip Camps: Best Western and the Comfort Suites.  These camps have been a gold mine over the years for mid to low D-1s, D-2, D-3, NAIA and JUCO programs.  Get a head start on your 2013-14 recruiting by attending-you won't regret it.

There is still availability for all of the below camps but register soon as
camps have filled up in past years:
June 22-23:  Shooting Camp conducted by Coach Mike Beitzel
June 22-23:  Post Camp conducted by Coach Randy Ward
June 23-27:  Boys Camp conducted by Rick Bolus
June 28-29:  Girls Camp conducted by Rick Bolus
July 14-18:   Boys Camp conducted by Rick Bolus
For more info on any of these camps, go www.basketball-camp.net

I look forward on seeing everyone this summer at Georgetown College as I begin my 41st year as a basketball scout which has taken me down the road of five decades!  I promise that I will be the first person in the gym each morning and the last one to leave!

Sincerely,

Rick Bolus
Scout and Camp Director

P.S. Remember players, if you want college coaches to know you, you must know the High Potential/Blue-Chip Camp and Recruiting Service.

Dear Players, Coaches, Parents & Fans,

Welcome to the April newsletter.  First, I would like to congratulate the 2013 NCAA champions, the University of Louisville, who had 3 former High Potential/Blue-Chip campers on their rosters.  The Lady Cardinals of the University of Louisville, who were the 2013 National Runner-Ups, had one former camper on their roster.  Also, Georgetown College (KY) which hosts my summer basketball camps was the 2013 NAIA men's champions.  You can now understand why the Bluegrass State is often referred to as the basketball capital of the world!

My 2013-14 spring player listings for both boys and girls are now live at my web page which is www.basketball-camp.net

.  Once on my home page, click on NATIONAL AND REGIONAL RANKINGS, found at the top right to view the vast list of players.

Below is the schedule for my 2013 summer basketball camps at Georgetown College in Georgetown which is near Lexington, KY. One can either register online via PayPal or download a registration form to mail or fax in.

June 22-23 Shooting Camp (grades 6-12)

June 22-23 Post Camp (grades 6-12)

June 23-27 Boys Camp (grades 6-12)

June 28-29 Girls Mini Camp (grades 6-12)

July 14-18  Boys Camp (grades 6-12)

(Note: There is a high school division and a middle school division for each camp.)

In closing, I would like to wish the best of luck to another former camper, Norris Cole, as he and his Miami Heat teammates go after a second consecutive NBA title.

Sincerely,

Rick Bolus
