Franklin County coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Will Bell, 6-3 Jr. Eric Meyer, 6-5 Jr. Garrett Hamilton, 5-10 Sr. Logan Clouse, and 5-10 So. Ryan Timmons.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-4 Jr. Tamron Manning, 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-4 Sr. Tanner Shotwell, 5-10 So. Quin Richardson, and 6-0 Sr. Trey Relford.

Scott County defeated Franklin County by a score of 74-58.  Scott County shot 45.5% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 20 of 27 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 24 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 51.2% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

Tanner Shotwell led Scott County with 19 points.  Tamron Manning added 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  5-11 Fr. Trent Gilbert recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.

Ryan Timmons led Franklin County with 20 points and four steals.  Garrett Hamilton added 16 points and six rebounds.

Henry Clay scored 25 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers in a 66-60 victory.  Henry Clay shot 44.2% from the field including one of 12 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 19 of 27 free throws and pulled down 31 rebounds.  Lafayette shot 41.7% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on seven of 16 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.

Brandon Nichols led Henry Clay with 17 points and five rebounds.  Wes Kimball and Daniel Kiesling added 11 and 10 points respectively.

6-1 Sr.Dee Yarbrough led Lafayette with 18 points.  Jackson Davis added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Nick Trisko recorded seven points and 10 rebounds.

Lexington Catholic eked out a 38-32 victory over South Laurel in which both teams shot below 30% from the field.  Lexington Catholic shot 29.7% from the field including two of five from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 23 South Laurel turnovers.  South Laurel shot 23.5% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored four points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

5-8 So. Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 12 points.  Alex Botkin added nine points, seven rebounds, and six steals.

Taylor Arthur and 5-8 Sr. Andi House led South Laurel with seven points each.  Erika Burchett added five points and 10 rebounds while Morgan Johnson recorded five points and nine rebounds.

Lexington Catholic defeated Manual by a score of 82-59.  Lexington Catholic shot 64.2% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 19 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 41.1% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Crimsons connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 21 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Scott Schuette led Lexington Catholic with 23 points including five three point baskets.  Schuette was nine of 10 from the field including five of six from beyond the arc.  Taylor Martin added 20 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Craig Floyd and Seth Beckham added 12 and 10 points respectively.  Bryan Woomer dished out eight assists.

Quintez Sutton led Manual with 22 points.  Bryan Repishti added 13 points including two three point baskets.

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Brenton Covington, 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.  Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden countered with 6-4 Sr. Marcellus Barksdale, 6-0 Jr. Darius Gibson, 6-2 Sr. Todd Bradley, 5-11 Sr. Kendale Mack, and 6-2 Sr. Ryan Fucci.

Tates Creek defeated Madison Central 50-43 in an old fashioned defensive slugfest.  Tates Creek led 20-8 early in the second quarter but Madison Central battled back to pull within one; 26-25 in the third quarter but could never take the lead.  Tates Creek pushed the lead to 46-33 in the final quarter but Madison Central cut into the margin.  Madison Central’s achilles’ heel was free throw shooting and offensive rebounding.  The Indians were an anemic one of 10 from the free throw line and was outrebounded 14-4 on the offensive boards.  It was a hard fought but clean game with Tates  Creek’s senior dominated lineup having the advantage tonight.

Tates Creek shot 40.4% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 52.5% from the field including zero of four from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on only one of 10 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.

Marcellus Barksdale led Tates Creek with 13 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Ryan Fucci also scored 13 points.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 15 points.  Hunter Allen added 12 points and six rebounds.

Elizabethtown defeated Nelson County by a score of 59-48.  Elizabethtown shot 35.4% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on 21 of 30 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Nelson County turnovers.  Nelson County shot 38.3% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored eight points off seven Elizabethtown turnovers.  Nelson county outscored Elizabethtown 43-38 points from the field but Elizabethtown held a 21-5 advantage on free throw points.

Adelaide Luckett led Elizabethtown with 13 points, 17 rebounds, and four assists.  Hannah Hart and Kaylyn Cecil added 10 and eight points respectively.  Natalie Greenwell recorded six points and seven rebounds.

AJ Lewis led Nelson County with 10 points.  Cierra Drake Caitlin Hagan, and Ashley Wimsett added nine, nine, and eight points respectively.  6-0 So. Alysa Johnston recorded seven points and five rebounds.

Mike Smith.  Bryan Station coach Michael Allen countered with 6-3 S. Larry Morton, 6-2 Sr. Deon Renfro, 6-5 Sr. Jaron Mock, 5-9 Sr. Tim Brown, and 6-0 Jr. Marcus Williams.

Bryan Station led 37-36 after three quarters but Sayre rallied to outscore the Defenders 26-13 in the final quarter for a 62-50 victory.  Sayre shot 47.5% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 119 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 33.3% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Sayre turnovers.  Bryan Station held a 27-0 advantage in bench scoring and a 17-6 advantage in second chance points.

Mike Smith had another big night for Sayre with 26 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and eight steals.  Smith was seven of 12 from the field including two of three from beyond the arc, and 10 of 14 from the free throw line.  Griffin Patterson added 13 points.  Ray Brewer also scored 13 points and pulled down five rebounds.

6-1 Sr. Loran Smith led Bryan Station with 13 points.  Deon Renfro added 11 points.  Marcus Williams recorded six points and eight rebounds.  Larry Morton started the game but only logged 20 seconds playing time.

Madison Central shot 42.4% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 16 of 33 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 19 Elliott County turnovers.  Madison Central held a 24-9 advantage on second chance points.  Elliott County shot 42.9% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Lions connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored five points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.

6-0 So. Ken-Jah Bosley led Madison Central with 17 points, five rebounds, and five steals.  Dominique Hawkins added 11 points, six rebounds, and three steals.Nick Ford recorded 10 points and nine rebounds.

Timmy Knipp led Elliott County with 25 points including three three point baskets, pulled down 12 rebounds, and dished out four assists.  Jacob Ison added 17 points and eight rebounds.
