Eastern Kentucky University utilized a balanced offense and a strong defense to earn a 26-13 victory over Murray State.  Eastern Kentucky recorded 23 first downs and 480 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized six times for 53 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.  Murray State recorded 13 first downs and 273 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 52 yard and lost three fumbles.

Daryl McCleskey led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 144 yards on 21 carries.  Ralph Patton added 54 yards on nine carries.  LJ Scott carried the ball 13 times for 35 yards and two touchdowns.  Tim Boyle completed 15 of 25 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  BK Smith caught five passes for 39 yards.  Neiko Creamer added three receptions for 66 yards.  Ryan Markush recorded three receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Dan Paul added three catches for 40 yards and a touchdown. LJ Scott returned one kickoff for 29 yards.  Luder Jean Louis led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Gavin Bryant added three solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Jeffrey Canady recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.  Kobie Grace added two solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble he returned 52 yards.  Brenton Ervin also recovered a fumble.

DJ Penick led Murray State’s ground game with 40 yards on eight carries.  Nolan Nichols carried the ball six times for 26 yards.  Shuler Bentley completed 20 of 40 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown.  Jensen Feggins caught eight passes for 57 yards.  Jordon Gandy added three receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown.  Bishop Woods led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Marco Paige added six solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Marque Sanford recorded five solo and three assisted tackles.  Q. Williams intercepted a pass he returned 26 yards.  D’Montre Wade intercepted a pass he returned 40 yards.

Cincinnati St. Xavier made a late defensive stand to hold off St. Xavier 16-14 in a highly competitive game. Cincinnati St. Xavier was able to hold the Louisville St. Xavier ground game to 87 yards well below their season’s average.  Cincinnati St. Xavier recorded 18 first downs and 287 yards of total offense.  The Bombers were penalized 55 yards.  St. Xavier recorded nine first downs and 269 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized 20 yards.

Chris Payne led Cincinnati St. Xavier’s ground game with 105 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Kellen Newman carried the ball 11 times for 24 yards.  Chase Wolf completed 19 of 26 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown.  Cameron Specht caught nine passes for 51 yards.  Andrew Wittrock added three receptions for 36 yards.  Jared Kreimer recorded three receptions for 29 yards.  Michael Grause caught an eight yard touchdown pass.  Cameron Garrett returned two kickoffs for 36 yards with a long return of 20 yards.  Will Childs led the defense with seven tackles including one sack.  Raja Bridges added six tackles including one sack.  Blake Bacevich recorded five tackles including one sack.

Jack Albers led the St. Xavier ground game with 45 yards on 10 carries.  Jack Albers completed 11 of 18 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns.  Will Crum caught four passes for 101 yards and a touchdown.  Ben Mueller added two receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Nolan Bruner led the defense with 10 tackles including one sack.  Sam Boarman also recorded 10 tackles.

DeSales improves to 10-0 with a 41-6 victory over Southern.  The Colts, as usual utilized their steady running attack and rock-ribbed defense to earn the victory.  They held Southern to -28 yards on the ground on 24 carries.  DeSales recorded 16 first downs and 285 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized three times for 20 yards and lost one fumble.  Southern recorded three first downs and 10 yards of total offense.  The Trojans were penalized five times for 41 yards and lost two fumbles.

Joe Olsen led DeSales ground game with 56 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Dar. Hollenkamp carried the ball 12 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns.  Chase Pfaadt recorded 53 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Aaron Pfaadt added 43 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Saivon Stivers added 41 yards on four carries.  Aaron Pfaadt was zero for one in the passing department.  Alex Schneider led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 10 yard loss.  Santon Hickman added two solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Demetri Scott recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Omari Milligan and Kenny Triplett each recovered a fumble.

LeBryon Martin led Southern’s ground game with 31 yards on 13 carries.  Marc Gartner completed three of seven passes for 38 yards and a touchdown.  Dylan Ready caught one pass for 35 yards and a touchdown.   Tyler Edwards led the defense with five solo tackles.  Tyree Wickliffe added four solo tackles.  Markell Braden recorded three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.

Tates creek trailed 9-0 early in the final quarter but rallied to defeat Franklin County by a score of 14-9.  Tates Creek recorded 11 first downs and 271 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized eight times for 58 yards and lost a fumble.  Franklin County recorded nine first downs and 204 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized six times for 45 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Laron Warner led Tates Creek’s ground game with 155 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Teonte White carried the ball 13 times for 64 yards and a touchdown.  Cameron Workman completed five of 12 passes for 40 yards.  Mikaleb Coffey caught one pass for 38 yards.  Marcus Bosley led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Cam Stewart added four solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss and recovered a fumble.  Thomas Galashaw recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Jaden Baird intercepted a pass.

Tre Simmons led Franklin County’s ground game with 46 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Jesse Thurman completed nine of 15 passes for 135 yards with two interceptions.  Fred Farrier caught four passes for 24 yards.  Cameron Phelps added two receptions for 27 yards.  Tre Simmons caught one pass for 54 yards.  Tre Simmons returned two kickoffs for 50 yards with a long return of 26 yards.  Simmons also returned three punts for 30 yards including a long return of 21 yards.  Brady Holleran led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Brady Roberts added three solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards and recovered a fumble.  Frank Turner added three solo and two assisted tackles and Chad Holleran recorded three solo and one assisted tackles.

Western rolled up 375 yard of offense and the defense forced five Dunbar turnovers in a 41-12 victory.  Western recorded 18 first downs and 375 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 46 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 14 first downs and 189 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized twice for nine yards, lost two fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

K. Thompson led Western’s ground game with 124 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Tristian Swain carried the ball seven times for 67 yards and a touchdown.  Tyon Pearson completed six of 12 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.  Jaelin Shannon caught two passes for 33 yards.  T. Davis caught a 41 yard touchdown pass.  Greg Jones led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  TreVon Young added six solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 32 yards.  Towand Anderson recorded five solo and five assisted tackles.  Noah Jackson added six solo and two assisted tackles.  Anthony Lewis and James Williams each recovered a fumble and Jaelin Shannon and DeMarcus Avery each intercepted a pass.

Chiani Russell led Dunbar’s ground game with 95 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  Alex Bard carried the ball nine times for 39 yards.  Tanner Cox completed five of 15 passes for 28 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  Darren Edmond caught three passes for 21 yards and a touchdown.  S. Bodadilla led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Cole Haney added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Kaden Gaylord intercepted a pass he returned eight yards.

Covington Catholic defeated Campbell County 49-13 to finish the regular season at 10-0 and is poised for a deep playoff run.  Covington Catholic recorded 18 first downs and 336 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized eight times for 66 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Campbell County recorded 12 first downs and 209 yards of total offense.  The Camels were penalized twice for 10 yards and lost two fumbles.

C. McGinness led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 77 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.  L. Summe added 46 yards on four carries.  G. Dyer recorded 33 yards on three carries.  T. Reusch carried the ball five times for 26 yards and a touchdown.  AJ Mayer completed seven of 14 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns with an interception.  M. Southwestern defeated Lexington catholic 53-47 in overtime in a game that featured offensive fireworks from beginning to end.  Lexington Catholic had a chance to win it in regulation but a potential game winning 31 yard field goal attempt was foiled when the snap went over the kickers head.  Lexington Catholic suffered a late injury when their starting center left the game with an injury.  LexCath got the ball first in overtime but the possession ended with a lost fumble.  Southwestern then took over and scored the winning touchdown on a 10 yard touchdown run by Patric Edwards.  Southwestern recorded 30 first downs and 577 yards of total offense.  The Warriors were penalized 18 times for 159 yards and lost a fumble.  Lexington catholic recorded 30 first downs and 475 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized seven times for 60 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Patric Edwards led Southwestern’s ground game with 340 yards and six touchdowns on 25 carries.  Drew Sawyers carried the ball nine times for 105 yards and two touchdowns.  Austin Barnes added 41 yards on six carries.  Drew Sawyers completed six of seven passes for 87 yards.  JP Vaught caught five passes for 72 yards.  JP Vaught returned four kickoffs for 75 yards with a long return of 29 yards.  Christian Bach led the defense with 13 solo tackles.  Austin Barnes added nine solo and two assisted tackles.  Kenny Robinson recorded seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Devin Strunk added five solo tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 43 yards.  Josh Williams recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Dameon Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 177 yards and one touchdown on 34 carries.  Beau Allen completed 29 of 39 passes for 362 yards and five touchdowns with one interception.  Trenton Neuer caught nine passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.  Nathan Schnurr added eight receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown.  Luke Powell recorded four carches for 136 yards and two touchdowns.  Gavin Cameron caught three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.  Nathan Schnurr returned three kickoffs for 89 yards with a long return of 44 yards.  Keith Brinkman led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Jake Topley and Henry Holthaus recorded five solo tackles each.

Lexington Christian Academy utilized their high octane offense to defeat Estill County by a score of 75-28.  LCA averaged an amazing 23.5 average per play for 25 plays on offense and only had the ball for 7:54 minutes on offense.  LCA’s  11 touchdowns included long distance plays of 90, 66, 68, 57, 65, 86, and 52 yards.  LCA recorded 13 first downs and 588 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized twice for 20 yards.  Estill County recorded 17 first downs and 416 yards of total offense.  The Engineers were penalized twice for 20 yards and lost a fumble.

Will Vernon led LCA’s ground game with 63 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Drayden Burton carried the ball one time for 57 yards and a touchdown.  Chase Sacca added 53 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Dillon Wheatley carried the ball seven times for 52 yards and three touchdowns.  Logan Nieves completed six of 10 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns.  Alec Park completed his only pass for 86 yards and a touchdown.  Caelen Lebryk caught two passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns.  Will Vernon added one reception for 86 yards and a touchdown.  Blane Hardin caught two passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.  Caelen Lebryk returned one kickoff for 54 yards.  Trey Hood led the defense with three solo and nine assisted tackles.  Jayden Barnhardt added two solo and six assisted tackles.  Josh McClurg scored on a fumble recovery.

Logan Beckler led Estill County’s ground game with 164 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.  Justin Stamper carried the ball 12 times for 105 yards.  Eli Haskell added 45 yards on 10 carries.  Logan Beckler completed two of four passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Jerry O’Hair caught two passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Lance Stevenson led the defense with one solo and three assisted tackles.  Jerry O’Hair added two solo tackles.

Ethan Hahn scored on an 86 yard touchdown run with 2:27 left in the game to give Madison Central a 12-8 come-from-behind victory over Bryan Station tonight.  Madison Central recorded 16 first downs and 303 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized three times for 25 yards and lost two fumbles.  Bryan Station recorded 13 first downs and 297 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized five times for 30 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Ethan Hahn led Madison Central’s ground game with 177 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Gavin Hulberg carried the ball 17 times for 82 yards.  Freddie Chenault added 63 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  Dalton Combs completed one of eight passes for 10 yards.  Chase Smith caught one pass for 10 yards.  Daniel Baker led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Kolby Jackson added five solo and three assisted tackles.  Levi Gaskins recorded one solo and six assisted tackles.  Jackson Juett intercepted a pass and Ben Snapp recovered a fumble.

Jalen Burbage led Bryan Station’s ground game with 92 yards on 15 carries.  Kendrick Curry added 33 yards on five carries.  Jalen Burbage completed 14 of 24 passes for 156 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Kendrick Curry caught five passes for 80 yards.  DonDRE Fish added four receptions for 43 yards.  Mario Black caught three passes for 14 yards and Anthony Chestnut recorded two catches for 19 yards and a touchdown.  Anthony Cox led the defense with one solo and nine assisted tackles.  Christian Benton added five solo and three assisted tackles.  Bryson Fields recorded three solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Kendrick Curry also recovered a fumble.

Henry Clay defeated Cooper by a score of 35-7 to even their season record at 5-5 while Cooper finishes the regular season with a 2-8 slate.  Henry Clay recorded 17 first downs and 450 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 45 yards.  Cooper recorded 12 first downs and 269 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 34 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Tyree Clarke led Henry Clay’s ground game with 186 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.  Langston Jackson carried the ball nine times for 84 yards and a touchdown.  Darrin Van Horn completed seven of 11 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns.  Michael McMullen caught two passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.  Zac Berezewitz added two receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown.  Tyree Clarke led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  John Felty added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Chris Dabney recorded five solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. 

A. Witschey led Cooper’s ground game with 64 yards on 20 carries.  Jeremiah Lee carried the ball 16 times for 39 yards.  Jeremiah Lee completed six of 13 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Mikey Armour caught two passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.  John Schlarman returned one kickoff for 36 yards.  Mattabary led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles.  Dillon Perry added three solo and six assisted tackles.
