Frederick Douglass defeated Madison Central by a score of 25-15.  Frederick Douglass recorded 19 first downs and 339 yards of total offense.  The Broncos were penalized nine times for 66 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Madison Central recorded 18 first downs and 309 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 56 yards and lost a fumble.

Jefferson Harkless led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 97 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Montaveon Bean carried the ball 11 times for 85 yards and a touchdown.  Montaveon Bean completed eight of 16 passes for 96 yards with one interception.  Gavin Bugg completed three of three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown.  Micah Lowe caught five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown.  Haiden Hunt added two receptions for 33 yards.  Frederick Jewett led the defense with two solo and eight assisted tackles.  Damon Christopher added seven solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Jaylin Bybee recorded six solo and two assisted tackles.  Kenja Clay added two solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Gavin Hulberg led Madison Central’s ground game with 115 yards on 20 carries.  Derrick Miller completed 13 of 25 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns.  Antwaun Warford caught five passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Ethan Hahn added four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown.  Ethan Hahn returned three kickoffs for 59 yards with a long return of 29 yards.  Jackson Juett led the defense with two solo and nine assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Jesse Cox added one solo and eight assisted tackles.  Denton Witt recorded one solo and six assisted tackles.  Ben Snapp intercepted a pass.

A focused Tates Creek team rolled over Bryan Station by a score of 38-8 to improve to 4-1 on Homecoming night.  Tates Creek recorded 13 first downs and 288 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized four times for 36 yards.  Bryan Station recorded 11 first downs and 256 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized five times for 40 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Laron Warner led Tates Creek’s ground game with 74 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Teonte White carried the ball nine times for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Mikaleb Coffey was very effective running out of the wildcat formation and carried the ball five times for 23 yards and two touchdowns.  Cameron Workman completed eight of 16 passes for 9 yards.  Darryl Bell Jr. caught six passes for 77 yards.  Teonte White added two receptions for 23 yards.  Darryl Bell Jr. returned two kickoffs for 45 yards with a long return of 25 yards.  Hayden Kenney led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an eight yard loss.  Marcus Bosley added four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  Teonte White recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Darryl Bell Jr. added three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.  JD Hawkins recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 30 yards.  Cam Stewart recovered a fumble and Elliott Bryant intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Chris Jones led Bryan Station’s ground game with 73 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Antoine Smith carried the ball eight times for 33 yards.  Jalen Burbage completed 12 of 26 passes for 125 yards with two interceptions.  Kendrick Curry caught five passes for 49 yards.  Shemar Ritch added two receptions for 51 yards.  Jalen Burbage returned two kickoffs for 57 yards with a long return of 30 yards.  Kendrick Curry returned one kickoff for 28 yards.  Kendrick Curry led the defense with four solo tackles.  Dayvon Moore added three solo and two assisted tackles.

Anderson County utilized their strong ground game (375 yards and six touchdowns on 46 carries) to defeat Franklin County by a score of 46-13.  Anderson County recorded 19 first downs and 383 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized five times for 35 yards.  Franklin County recorded 16 first downs and 244 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized six times for 73 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Zach Labhart led Anderson County’s ground game with 162 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries.   Blake Franklin carried the ball 11 times for 120 yards and a touchdown.  Caleb Puckett carried the ball once for 21 yards and a touchdown.  Jagger Gillis completed one of five passes for eight yards.  Tyler Peters caught one pass for eight yards.  Blake Franklin returned on a punt for 88 yards and a touchdown.  Joe Taylor led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards and recovered a fumble.  Zach Labhart added four solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Austin Watts recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Matt Stamper added four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 26 yards.  RJ Boies chipped in with two solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  Andrew Lykins also recorded a fumble.

Jesse Thurman led Franklin County’s ground game with 89 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Dakota Bowen carried the ball four times for 57 yards.  Tre Simmons added 30 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Jesse Thurman completed seven of 22 passes for 52 yards with one interception.  Tre Simmons caught three passes for 42 yards.  Chad Holleran led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Frank Turner added four solo and four assisted tackles.  Tre Simmons recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.  Zach Nalley added three solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.

Moeller dominated tonight in a 55-6 victory over Lafayette.  QB Miles McBride riddled the Lafayette defense as he threw five touchdown passes.  Moeller recorded 16 first downs and 376 yards of total offense.  They were penalized twice for 10 yards and had one interception.  Lafayette recorded five first downs and 134 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized four times for 49 yards and had three interceptions.

Colin Thurman led Moeller’s ground game with 120 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Miles McBride completed nine of 11 passes for 194 yards and five touchdowns.  Mitch McKenzie completed three of nine passes for 34 yards with one interception.  Jack McCracken caught four passes for 102 yards and three touchdowns.  RJ Khayo added three receptions for 32 yards.  Eric Wills recorded one catch for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Pete Baker, Alex Deyhle, and Luke Szabados all recorded three solo and two assisted tackles and Baker added an interception he returned for 26 yards.  BJ Hendrix intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards for a touchdown.  Robert Jones also intercepted a pass.

DeShawn Taylor led Lafayette’s ground game with 28 yards on five carries.  Dekwan Edwards completed seven of 16 passes for 94 yards and one touchdown with three interceptions.  Matt Guilfoil caught four passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.  Kuantaze Cooper returned four kickoffs for 61 yards with a long return of 36 yards.  Jaylen Lawson led the defense with nine solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Austin Blake added seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Ean Shaw recorded five solo and two assisted tackles.  Darrell Ugboaja intercepted a pass he returned for 22 yards.

LaSalle’s defense slowed the potent Scott County ground game on their way to a 28-14 victory.  LaSalle recorded 19 first downs and 371 yards of total offense.  The Lancers were penalized six times for 127 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Scott County recorded 13 first downs and 224 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 36 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Cameron Porter led LaSalle’s ground game with 130 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.  Griffin Merritt completed 14 of 21 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Jake Seibert caught four passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.  Jake Roberts added two receptions for 57 yards.  Sam Hildebrand returned three kickoffs for 144 yards with a long return of 85 yards and returned one punt for 11 yards.  Zach Rumpke led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Brody Ingle added two solo and seven assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.  Shane McNally and Craig Wills each recorded three solo and three assisted tackles and Wills recorded an interception.

Brice Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 79 yards on 10 carries.  Austin Barnett carried the ball 19 times for 77 yards.  Josh Davis completed one of eight passes for 42 yards with one interception.  Sam Sutton completed his only pass for 19 yards.  Payton Brown caught one pass for 42 yards.  Josh Davis added one reception for 19 yards.  Brice Fryman returned one kickoff for 40 yards.  Bronson Brown led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Berk Watts added three solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  Matt Fannin chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Zach Coleman recorded one solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Glen Covington intercepted a pass he returned 18 yards for a touchdown.

Lexington Catholic trailed 18-7 with five minutes left on the game but rallied for a 21-18 victory over Highlands.  Lexington Catholic recorded 21 first downs and 399 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized five times for 40 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Highlands recorded 14 first downs and 357 yards of total offense.  The Bluebirds were penalized three times for 14 yards and did not have a turnover.

Dameon Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 209 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries.  Keith Brinkman carried the ball 11 times for 43 yards.  Beau Allen completed 15 of 25 passes for 154 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Nathan Schnurr caught five passes for 58 yards.  Luke Powell added three receptions for 33 yards.  Gavin Cameron caught three passes for 30 yards and a touchdown.  Nathan Schnurr returned three kickoffs with 67 yards and a long return of 26 yards.  Kevin Brown led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles.  Ray Smoot added four solo and five assisted tackles.  Jake Topley recorded five solo and two assisted tackles.  Dylan Coulter added two solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.

Cooper Schwalbach led Highlands’ ground attack with 82 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Carl Schoellman completed 21 of 28 passes for 342 yards and a touchdown.  Jared Wogan caught five passes for 46 yards.  Cooper Schwalbach added three receptions for 19 yards.  Grady Cramer recorded two receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Veneman added two receptions for 51 yards.  Griffin Huber caught two passes for 37 yards.  Nick Veneman returned two kickoffs for 42 yards with a long return of 22 yards.  Harrison Traylor led the defense with seven solo and six assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Ben Sisson added five solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards.  Griffin Huber recorded three solo and seven assisted tackles.  Trent Johnson added one solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards.  Alex Starkey recovered a fumble.

Archbishop Moeller Cincinnati (OH) 38  Scott County 28 – Miles McBride completed 14 of 18 passes for 241 yards and four touchdowns and carried the ball 13 times for 114 yards to lead Moeller.

 

Mercer County 49  Garrard County 42 – Gunnar Gillis completed 10 of 17 passes for 325 yards and five touchdowns to lead Mercer County.  Josh Warren carried the ball 22 times for 174 yards and a touchdown and Anthony Justus added 151 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries to lead Garrard County.

Louisville Holy Cross 38  Bethlehem 7 – Mario Convenuto carried the ball 16 times for 164 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.
