Sacred Heart Academy defeated Simon Kenton by a score of 84-76 in overtime.  Simon Kenton’s Shelby Harmeyer hit a three point basket at the buzzer to send the game to overtime.  The score was tied 11 times and there were 12 lead changes in the game.  Sacred Heart shot 57.7% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 25 Simon Kenton turnovers.  Simon Kenton shot 44.8% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pioneers connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 22 Sacred Heart turnovers.

5-5 Fr. Erin Toller led Sacred Heart with 19 points including four three point baskets and four steals.  Grace Berger added 16 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Ashlee Harris recorded 13 points, six rebounds, and six steals.  Kiki Samsel also scored 13 points.  Kia Sivils chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 18 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Lindi DeBilzan added 14 points.  Kiara Pankins recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.
