Mason Towery, 5-2 Sr. RaeAnn Stafford, and 5-2 Jr. Sydney Day.  Barren County coach Piper Lindsey countered with 5-8 Sr. Olivia Poynter, 5-8 So. Mallory Pedigo, 6-1 So. Mckenzie England, 5-3 Jr. Hadleigh Hammer, and 5-7 So. Bailey Pedigo.

 

Allen County-Scottsville defeated Barren County by a score 46-39.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 36.6% from the field including four of eight from the three point line.  They connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Barren County turnovers.  Barren County shot 41% from the field including one of 14 from beyond the arc.  They connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.

 

Sarah Sutton led Allen County-Scottsville with 19 points including three three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Mason Towery added 19 points and five rebounds.  Sydney Day pulled down seven rebounds.

 

Mckenzie England led Barren County with 10 points and nine rebounds.  Bailey Pedigo added eight points and four rebounds.  5-8 Fr. Elizabeth Betram chipped in with eight points.

Jay Ballard.  Garrard county coach Scott Latham countered with 5-11 Sr. Neck Hocker, 5-9 Sr. Logan Patrick, 5-10 Sr. Sis Logan, 5-5 Sr. Maddy Day, and 5-8 Sr. Sam Adams.

 

Lexington Catholic led 32-22 in the final quarter but had to survive a 11-3 run by Garrard County down the stretch to earn a 35-33 victory.  Lexington Catholic shot 27.6% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored five points off 15 Garrard County turnovers.  Garrard County shot 30.8% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Lions connected on four of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored five points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

 

5-5 8th Grader Farah Weldon led Lexington Catholic with nine points including three three point baskets.  Olivia Haines added eight points and Jay Ballard recorded seven points and six rebounds.  Maylo Given added six points and eight rebounds.

 

Sam Adams led Garrard County with 14 points including four three point baskets.  Maddy Day added 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Sis Logan recorded nine rebounds, and blocked two shots.

Keaston Brown.  Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson countered with 6-3 Sr. David Demarcus, 6-4 Fr. Nathan Mack, 6-7 Sr. Braeden Warren, 5-10 Jr. Eric Boone, and 6-1 Jr. Terrence Clayton-Murphy.

 

Bryan Station defeated Henry Clay by a score of 84-74.  The score was tied three times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Bryan Station shot a sizzling 62.3% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 35.8% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Terrance Clayton-Murphy led Bryan Station with 26 points and eight rebounds.  6-2 So. Jalen Burbage added 14 points including three three point baskets.  David Demarcus recorded 13 points and nine rebounds.  Eric Boone chipped in with 13 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  Braeden Warren added 10 points, four rebounds, and five blocked shots.

 

Justin Mitchell led Henry Clay with 29 points.  Keaston Brown added 19 points including two three point baskets and seven of nine free throws.  5-8 So. Ramond Jackson chipped in with 11 points.  Harris Hawkins pulled down nine rebounds.

Bryan Station led 36-15 in the second quarter and 51-37 after three quarters but had to withstand a furious Henry Clay rally to earn a 62-61 victory over the Lady Blue Devils.  Bryan station shot 40% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 19 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 36.5% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 36 points off 20 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Kyrah Hardin led Bryan Station with 25 points including four three point baskets and six steals.  Jlyn Martin added 17 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and four steals.  Carah Burdette chipped in with 10 points.

Savannah Courtney led Franklin County with 17 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Brooklyn Miles added 15 points and five steals.  Rebecca Cook recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, and five steals.  Kindall Talley chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.  5-8 Jr. Joey Thacker scored six points on two three point baskets.

Corbin defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 78-75.  Lexington Catholic led 75-73 with 14 seconds to go in the game but the Knights were fouled one personal foul and two technical fouls with eight seconds to go in the game.  Andrew Taylor completed five of six free throws to give Corbin the victory.  The score was tied 11 times and there were 18 lead changes in the game.

 

Corbin shot 47.2% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line.  The Redhounds connected on 21 of 27 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 50.9% from the field including six of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 Corbin turnovers.

 

Andrew Taylor led Corbin with 32 points including 13 of 15 free throws, 13 rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  6-2 Fr. Matthew Taylor added 17 points and five rebounds.  Conner Hopkins recorded six points, six rebounds, and five assists.

Henry Clay raced out to a 20-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 67-58 victory over Tates Creek.  Henry Clay shot 39.7% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 12 of 23 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 19 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 33.3% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 25 of 35 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.
