Lexington Catholic defeated Madison Southern by a score of 77-62.  Lexington Catholic shot 43.5% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 13 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 42% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Zan Payne led Lexington Catholic with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.  6-2 Jr. Blake Scott added 15 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Luke Johnson chipped in with 12 points.  Peter Whitman recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Donovan Morris also reached double figures with 10 points.

Caleb Miller led Madison Southern with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Tanner Kidwell added 11 points and six rebounds.  Griffin Gabbard recorded eight points and 10 rebounds.  Stacy Burns chipped in with five points and reached the career 1,000 point milestone tonight.

Lafayette trailed 34-33 after three quarters but rallied for a 48-40 victory over Woodford County.  Lafayette led 31-23 at halftime but Woodford County outscored the Lady Generals 11-2 in the third quarter to take the lead at the end of three quarters.  Lafayette held a 14-6 advantage in second chance points.

Lafayette shot 31.4% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 40.5% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Yellow Jackets connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.
