Sayre coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Philip O’Rourke, 6-1 Sr. Reid Freeman, 6-6 Jr. Ray Brewer, 6-0 Jr. Duncan Courtney, and 6-0 So. Justin Sanders.  Pendleton County coach Chad Simms countered with 6-1 Sr. Gabe Antrobus, 5-10 Jr. Garrett Appleman, 6-4 Sr. Jared Rering, 5-8 Jr. Aaron Gibson, and 5-10 Jr. Mason Monroe.

Pendleton County defeated Sayre by a score of 59-52.  There were 11 lead changes and six ties in this game.  Pendleton County shot 40.4% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line.  The Wildcats connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 46.5% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored two points off six Pendleton County turnovers.

Jared Rering led Pendleton County with 19 points including four three point baskets.  Mason Monroe added 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Garrett Appleman chipped in with 11 points.

Reid Freeman led Sayre with 23 points including six three point baskets and eight assists.  Freeman was eight of 14 from the field including six of seven from the three point line and one of two from the free throw line.  Ray Brewer added 20 points and 13 rebounds.  Brewer was nine of 16 from the field and two of four from the free throw line.

6-5 So. Dominique Harding led Elizabethtown with 13 points.  Nic McDonald added 12 points and eight rebounds.  Jansen Flood and Todd Lucas each recorded 11 points.  Bryce Byrd recorded eight points and eight rebounds.

6-7 Jr. Charles Sweat-Washington hit a free throw with 36 seconds left in the game to give Lafayette a 50-49 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Lexington Christian led 15-8 early in the second quarter but Lafayette rallied and the score was tied 18-18 at halftime.  There were 11 lead changes and eight ties in the game.  Lafayette held a 40-27 margin in rebounds and enjoyed a 16-8 advantage in second effort points.

Lafayette shot 36.2% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 35.4% from the field including nine of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers.

Tranard Chester led Lafayette with 17  points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Charles Sweat-Washington added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Tyler Harville led LCA with 25 points including seven three point baskets and six rebounds.  Taylor Blair and 6-2 Sr. Travis Branham added seven points each.

Bryan Station defeated Franklin County tonight by a score of 85-74.  Bryan Station raced out to a 26-10 lead early in the second quarter but Franklin County rallied and only trailed by two; 35-33 at halftime.  Bryan Station outscored Franklin County 25-16 in the third quarter to regain control of the game.  Bryan Station shot 47.5% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 23 of 33 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Franklin County turnovers.  Bryan Station held a 20-6 advantage in second effort points.  Franklin County shot 37.7% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on 19 of 23 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 26 Bryan Station turnovers.

Jaylen Beckham led Bryan Station with 29 points; 26 coming in the second half.  Beckham was 11 of 14 free throws and pulled down six rebounds. Omari Sweat added 10 points and six rebounds.  Marcus Williams and Kalahari Harris chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds each.  6-2 Jr. Kenyon Hipps also recorded nine points.

Ryan Timmons led Franklin County with 22 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.  Logan Woodside added 16 points.  Eric Meyer chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets.  Casey Tabor also recorded 12 points.

Tyler McDaniel, and 6-2 Sr. Zach McGeorge.

Lexington Catholic defeated Clay County by a score of 95-81 in a game that featured a combined 26 three point baskets (15 for Lexington Catholic and 11 for Clay County).  The barrage of three point baskets came at an opportune time for Lexington Catholic as Jack Whitman was limited to 13:22 minutes due to foul problems.

Lexington Catholic shot 57.6% from the field including 15 of 30 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 18 Clay County turnovers.  Clay County shot 50.8% from the field including 11 of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Craig Floyd led Lexington Catholic with 26 points including four three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Dillon Avare added 21 points on seven three point baskets.  Patrick Keller added 13 points and Jack Whitman chipped in with 12 points.  Bryan Woomer recorded 11 points and 14 rebounds.  6-6 Jr. Tom Banahan tallied nine points.

Kodi Reed led Clay County with 23 points including six three point baskets.  Tyler McDaniel added 19 points and six assists.  Zach McGeorge chipped in with 15 points and five rebounds.  Steve Wagers recorded 11 points and five rebounds.  Stephon Lyttle pulled down 10 rebounds.

Christen Cunningham.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-5 Sr. Tamron Manning, 6-3 Sr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-4 Sr. Josh Harris, 6-0 Jr. Quin Richardson, and 6-1 So. Trenton Gilbert.

Henry Clay continues their remarkable run this week with a 63-59 victory over Scott County after handing Madison Central their first loss of the season earlier this week.  Henry Clay led 32-20 early in the third quarter  but Scott County only trailed 41-40 after three quarters.  Henry Clay held on down the stretch to earn an impressive road victory over the Cardinals.

Henry Clay shot 44.4% from the field including two of five from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored four points off seven Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 30.3% from the field including only one of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.

Christen Cunningham led Henry Clay with 19 points including 10 of 14 free throws.  Trey Grundy added 12 points and nine rebounds.  Jordan Green also scored 12 points and pulled down five rebounds.  Darien Tichenor chipped in with eight points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  6-1 Sr. Alex Blackburn also scored eight points.

Isaiah Ivey led Scott County with 17 points.  Tamron Manning added 15 points, 15 rebounds, and three steals.  Josh Harris chipped in with 10 points.
