Providence coach Brad Burden started the following lineup: Sr. Mackenzie Wilson, Sr. Alex Stiner, Jr. Nichole Tucker, Sr. Mary Graf, and Sr. Leah White.  Holy Cross coach Fred Copass countered with 5-9 Jr. Sydney Morabito, 5-8 Sr. Mya Hardin, 5-11 Sr. Julie Skaggs, 5-3 Jr. Morgan Wimberg, and 5-6 Sr. Kim Mingus.

Holy Cross raced out to a 21-2 first quarter lead on their way to a 60-33 victory over Providence.  Providence was ice cold from the field only shooting 17.5% from the field.  Holy Cross shot 37.7% from the field including five of 26 from the three point line.  The Lady Cougars connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 22 Providence turnovers.  Providence shot 17.5% from the field including one of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Pioneers connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Holy Cross turnovers.

Mya Hardin led Holy Cross with 14 points.  Kim Mingus added 12 points and seven rebounds.  5-11 Fr. Michelle Fries chipped in with 10 points.  5-10 So. Josie Hockman recorded nine points and seven rebounds.  Kim Mingus was named Game MVP for Holy Cross.

Leah White led Providence with 13 points and five steals.  Mary Graf added six points and eight rebounds.  Leah White was named Game MVP for Providence.

Green County led 23-15 after the first quarter in a 50-39 victory over Male.  Green County shot 39.5% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Dragons connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Male turnovers.  Male shot 37% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Green County turnovers.

Micah Jones led Green County with 22 points and eight rebounds.  Kayla Bale added 10 points.  Micah Jones was named Game MVP for Green County.

Taylor Messex led Male with 12 points.  5-7 Fr. Taylor Jackson added nine points.  Andrea Owen recorded eight points and six rebounds.  Brittinee Jones chipped in with six points and nine rebounds.  Taylor Messex was named Game MVP for Male.

Blackman trailed 34-27 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Pleasure Ridge Park by a score of 50-42.  Blackman shot 29.2% from the field including three of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Blaze connected on 19 of 24 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 23 Pleasure Ridge Park turnovers.  Pleasure Ridge Park shot 41.3% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers only connected on two of 15 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Blackman turnovers.

Alex Johnson led Blackman with 21 points and seven rebounds.  Chelsey Hall added 10 points including two three point baskets.  Kortnay Cox chipped in with eight points.  Alex Johnson was named Game MVP for Blackman.

Rayven Shead led PRP with 14 points and nine rebpunds.  Shead was seven of eight from the field.  5-7 So. Clarksville proved they were worthy of their lofty reputation as they easily defeated Scott County by a score of 102-43.  Clarksville shot 50.6% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Wildcats connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 60 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 23 Scott County turnovers.  Clarksville held a 30-17 advantage on second effort points.  Scott County shot 22.2% from the field including three of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Clarksville turnovers.

Bashaara Graves led Clarksville with 31 points, 28 rebounds, and seven assists.  Jessy Ward added 18 points and six assists.  Tiasha Gray chipped in with 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  Chandler Cooper recorded 15 points.  Bashaara Graves was named Game MVP for Clarksville.

The inaugural Allgood Hoops/Fern Valley Hotel RUN-N-SHOOT Classic featured one of the nation’s top 5 teams (Clarksville, TN) and one of the country’s top 5 players in Bashaara Graves (Clarksville, TN) and both team and player put on quite a show for the fans at Louisville Male High School, KY on December 10^th.  Clarksville (TN) defeated Scott County (KY) by a score of 102-43 with Graves scoring 31 points and hauling in 28 rebounds.  Graves who has signed with Tennessee will easily be a McDonald’s All-American this season.  Eight teams representing three states participated.  Below were the top college prospects for the event which was directed by Jeff Allgood of Allgood Hoops.

Dunbar outscored Ryle 17-1 in the final quarter to earn a 54-43 victory.  Ryle led 37-22 in the third quarter but Dunbar rallied behind 12 points in the quarter by Morgan McEldowney to cut the deficit to five; 42-37 after thee quarters.  Dunbar dominated the final quarter as Ryle’s Jenna Crittendon fouled out with 6:45 left in the game.  LaKeena Parks led the surge for Dunbar with eight points in the final quarter.

Dunbar shot 38.1% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 19 of 26 free throws.  Ryle shot 38.6% from the field including three of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on six of 12 free throws.

Morgan McEldowney led Dunbar with 21 points including three three point baskets.  LaKenna Parks added 12 points, 12 rebounds, and nine steals.

Kayla Rankin and Kendall Noble led the victors with 30 and 20 points respectively.  Tamara Crawford added 12 points on four three point baskets.

Dai Quan Epps led Tates Creek with 17 points and seven rebounds.  Darius Gibson added 16 points and Jordan Fucci chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds.  Braxton McFarland recorded eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

The # 16 Scott County Lady Cardinals used a big second quarter run to outscore the Lady Defenders 22-2  to get out to an early lead on district foe Bryan Station.  The Lady Cardinals led at the half by the score of 38-20 and went on to win the game at Scott County.  Scott County was led in scoring by senior guard, Mary Logsdon with 22 points.  Sophomore guard, Danielle DeFoor also had 17 points, including three 3 pointers.  Sophomore Forward Tereka Guyn added 10 points and fellow Sophomore point guard Audriana Christopher had 10 points.  Sophomore Forward Iman Guy had 17 rebounds.  Scott County shot 22-30 from the free throw line on the way to victory.  Bryan Station was led in scoring by guard and Butler University signee, Serena Sandusky with 19 points.
