Trinity 17  Cincinnati St. Xavier 7 – QB Travis Wright threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Shamrocks to a big win over another top team.

Scott County 55  Tates Creek 8 – The Cardinals continue to dominate on both sides of the ball.

Lexington Catholic 43  Madison Central 18 – QB Kyle Bolin completed 21 of 28 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 54 yards and a TD to lead the Knights to victory.

Henry Clay 34  George Rogers Clark 14 – Davion Jackson carried the ball 17 times for 219 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Blue Devils to their first victory of the year.

Lafayette 27  Paul L. Dunbar 18 – Lafayette star running back William Johnson was out with an injury but Soph. Kylan Nelson carried the ball 18 times for 282 yards including a 72 yard touchdown run.

Franklin County 54  Scott 14 – Ryan Timmons carried the ball 10 times for 149 yards and two touchdowns and caught five passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Flyers.

Anderson County 28  Mercer County 6 – Seth Carmichael completed 20 of 26 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score to lead the victors.

Bardstown 67  Elizabethtown 20 – Bardstown averaged 9.1 yards per carry on 38 rushing attempts in a rout of Elizabethtown.

Hazard 43  Lexington Christian Academy 7 – LCA turned the ball over six times in their loss.

Central 34  Western 6 – QB Tajh Milliken completed seven of 13 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Yellowjackets.

East Jessamine 15  Bullitt Central 10 – Cameron Thomas carried the ball 24 times for 210 yards to lead the Jaguars.

Pleasure Ridge Park 27  DeSales 20 – QB Spencer Sumpter threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score to lead PRP.

Jeffersontown 21  Meade County 14 – QB DeMichael Jackson had another big night with 232 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries .  He also completed 11 of 13 passes for 104 yards.

Cincinnati Moeller 27  St. Xavier 10 – Monty Madaris caught seven passes for 206 yards including TD receptions of 46, 80, and 48 yards to lead Moeller.

Nicholas County 56  Paris 0 – Caleb Pope ran for 320 yards including TD runs of 43, 17, 53, 88, and 18 yards.

Russell County 34  North Laurel 0 – Nick Britt carried the ball 19 times for 202 yards and four touchdowns to lead Russell County.

Perry County Central 47  Sheldon Clark 14 – QB Kyle Huff threw TD passes of 82 and 10 yards to lead the victors.

Trinity captured a hard fought 17-7 decision over nationally ranked Cincinnati St. Xavier to improve their record to 4-0.  St. Xavier falls to 3-1 for the season.  Trinity recorded 15 first downs and 322 yards of total offense.  The Shamrocks were penalized seven times for 65 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Cincinnati St. Xavier recorded 16 first downs and 236 yards of total offense.  The Bombers were penalized twice for 10 yards and lost two fumbles.

Dalyn Dawkins led Trinity’s ground game with 59 yards on 23 carries.  Travis Wright completed 18 of 31 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  James Quick caught seven passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.  R. White led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles.  J. Jordan added five solo and one assisted tackles.

Connor Hundley led the Cincinnati St. Xavier ground game with 52 yards on 16 carries.  Griffin Dolle completed 16 of 27 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown.  Trey Kilgore caught six passes for 61 yards and a touchdown.  Nathan Gerbus led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Mark Jacob added four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling two yards.  Ben Caroll recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Bardstown averaged 9.1 yards per carry on 38 rushing attempts in a 67-20 victory over Elizabethtown.  Bardstown improves their record to 4-0 while Elizabethtown drops to 0-5 for the season.  Bardstown recorded 22 first downs and 493 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized eight times for 55 yards.  Elizabethtown recorded 12 first downs and 270 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized 11 times for 92 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

CJ Jackson led Bardstown’s ground attack with 81 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.  Marcus Cosby carried the ball five times for 63 yards and one touchdown.  Jordan Brewer completed six of 13 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns.  Marcus Cosby caught three passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.  Jack Whitfield caught two passes for 66 yards and a touchdown.  Tanner Culver led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Jack Whitfield added three solo and one assisted tackles.

Josh Williams led Elizabethtown’s ground game with 58 yards on eight carries.  Kyle Todd completed 16 of 34 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Matt Morgan caught eight passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns.  Tyler Adams and Josh Williams led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles each.

The opportunistic Hazard defense forced six turnovers in a 43-7 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Hazard improves to 2-1 for the season while Lexington Christian Academy falls to 1-4 for the year.  Hazard recorded 15 first downs and 296 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized four times for 45 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded 11 first downs and 166 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized nine times for 96 yards, lost three fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

Evan Whitaker led Hazard’s ground game with 62 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.  Evan Whitaker completed 12 of 19 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Austin Johnson caught six passes for 50 yards.  Jordan Olinger caught four passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.  BJ Combs led the defense with five solo tackles, four assisted tackles, one fumble recovery which he returned for a touchdown and an interception.  Nathan Higgins added five solo and one assisted tackles. Kody Arnett and Nathan Stupart each recovered a fumble and Brandon Jones added two interceptions.

Sam Maybriar led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 28 yards on six carries.  Lincoln Henzman added 21 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Dima Ballard completed 11 of 21 passes for 93 yards with three interceptions.  Lincoln Henzman caught five passes for 45 yards.  Brandt Redmon led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of three yards.  Justin King recorded four solo and four assisted tackles.  Clay Mossbarger recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.

Anderson County defeated Mercer County tonight 28-6 led by the pinpoint accuracy (20-26) of QB Seth Carmichael.  Anderson County improves their record to 3-1 while Mercer County falls to 1-3 for the season.  Anderson County recorded 19 first downs and 390 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized 11 times for 77 yards and lost a fumble.  Mercer County recorded nine first downs and 161 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized eight times for 68 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Ethan Kelly led Anderson County’s ground game with 105 yards on 13 carries.  Ganville Hayes carried the ball 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Seth Carmichael completed 20 of 26 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns.  Spencer Ruggles caught five passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns.  Matthew Sprague caught five passes for 40 yards.  Tristan Ashburn led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Seth Carmichael added three solo and two assisted tackles.

Jaylen Whitley led Mercer County’s ground game with 59 yards on seven carries.  JT Long completed nine of 20 passes for 73 yards with one interception.  Russell Sims caught four passes for 51 yards.  Dexter Banks led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles.  GW Anderson added four solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling three yards.  Tyler Dunn recorded three solo and eight assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards and also recovered a fumble.

Lafayette star running back William Johnson missed tonight’s game with an injury but no worry as Soph. Kylan Nelson behind excellent blocking from his O-Line rushed for 282 yards and a touchdown to lead Lafayette to a 27-19 victory over Paul L. Dunbar.  Lafayette improves to 3-2 while Paul L. Dunbar falls to 0-4 for the season.  Lafayette recorded 12 first downs and 376 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized four times for 27 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Paul L. Dunbar recorded 16 first downs and 314 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized 13 times for 92 yards.

Kylan Nelson led Lafayette’s ground game with 282 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Jeremy Smith completed one of seven passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.  Brandon Epps caught one pass for 85 yards and a touchdown.  Justin Carr led the defense with four solo and 15 assisted tackles.  Jason Ferguson added six solo and four assisted tackles.

John Rose led Dunbar’s ground attack with 122 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries.  Blake Martin carried the ball 10 times for 72 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Blake Martin completed seven of 26 passes for 81 yards.  J. Armstrong caught three passes for 40 yards.  Andre Jones led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 14 yards and recovered a fumble.  Antwan Williams added four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of 15yards.

Scott County continues their steam roller impression with a dominating 55-8 victory over Tates Creek to improve their record to 5-0.  Tates Creek falls to 2-3 for the season.  Scott County recorded 20 first downs and 374 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized four times for 30 yards and lost a fumble.  Tates Creek could only manage three first downs and 73 yards of total offense tonight.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 50 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Dier. Dumphord led Scott County’s ground game with 75 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Kevo Edwards carried the ball six times for 70 yards and a touchdown.  Ben Lawler added 65 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries.  Josh Walls recorded 51 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Ben Lawler completed four of six passes for 68 yards.  Scott Daniel caught three passes for 48 yards.  Damon Gray led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling seven yards.  Avery Ford added three solo and one assisted tackles.

Dennis Oxendine led Tates Creek’s ground game with 41 yards on six carries.  Martell Berry completed one of 14 passes for -3 yards with an interception.  Eamon Nasr led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Tadarius Jemison added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Casey Grimes scored on a 69 yard fumble recovery return.

Four turnovers and an explosive Lexington Catholic aerial assault doomed Madison Central tonight as the Knights claimed a 43-18 victory over the home team.  Lexington Catholic improves to 4-1 while Madison Central falls to 1-3 for the season.  Lexington Catholic recorded 21 first downs and 479 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 12 times for 138 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Madison Central recorded 16 first downs and 373 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized seven times for 52 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Kyle Bolin led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 54 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Kyle Bolin completed 21 of 28 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns with one interception.  Adam Bush caught eight passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns.  David Bouvier caught six passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.  Alex Nash led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling five yards.  Nash also scored on a 49 yard fumble recovery return.  Adam Wachs and Anthony Kersey each recorded five solo tackles. 

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central’s ground attack with 128 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Jamez Chenault carried the ball six times for 40 yards.  Hunter Stocker completed six of 18 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns.  Dominique Hawkins caught two passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.  Tucker Fair led the defense with 10 solo tackles.  Jacob Hensley added nine solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.

Ryan Timmons ran for two touchdown and caught two touchdown passes as Franklin County defeated Scott 54-14 to improve to 5-0 for the season.  Covington Scott falls to 2-2 for the season.  Franklin County recorded 18 first downs and 451 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized six times for 55 yards and lost a fumble.  Scott recorded 13 first downs and 190 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 58 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Ryan Timmons led Franklin County’s ground attack with 149 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Logan Woodside completed 11 of 21 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns.  Ryan Timmons caught five passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns.  Greg Maupin added three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Pedone led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles.  Jalen Jones added three solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling eight yards.

Juston Hoskins led Scott’s ground game with 20 yards on six carries.  Ben Osborne completed five of 12 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Brandon Stamper caught two passes for 24 yards.  Reed Spata caught a 79 yard TD pass.  Chris Roberts led the defense with seven solo tackles.  Blake Gay added four solo and two assisted tackles.

Henry Clay earned their first victory of the season with a 34-14 win over George Rogers Clark.  Henry Clay improves their record to 1-4 while George Rogers Clark falls to 2-2.  Henry Clay recorded 17 first downs and 342 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized 10 times for 80 yards , lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded 12 first downs and 223 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 50 yards and lost a fumble.

Davion Jackson led Henry Clay’s ground game with 219 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.  David George carried the ball six times for 58 yards and a touchdown.  Anthony Lindsey carried the ball eight times for 50 yards and two touchdowns.  Christian Todd completed three of four passes for 24 yards with one interception.  Evander Harris caught two passes for 16 yards.  Anthony Lindsey led the defense with six solo and 11 assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling eight yards.  Charles McCarty added seven solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Pokey Harris led Geprge Rogers Clark’s ground game with 79 yards on 22 carries.  Darian Skinner carried the ball eight times for 43 yards.  Christian Cooke completed three of five passes for 64 yards and a touchdown.  Garrison Conn caught two passes for 28 yards.  Brent Stoneking caught a 36 yard touchdown pass.  Davon Marshall led the defense with five solo tackles.  Chase Austin added three solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Darian Skinner recorded two solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass which he returned 34 yards for a touchdown.
