Lexington Christian Academy coach Jason Seamands started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Kelli Rinehart, 5-8 Fr. Katelin Bundy, 6-1 Jr. Kristen Jacob, 5-4 Jr. Kelli Mitchuson, and 5-5 Sr. Rachel Cox.  Lafayette coach Allison Tate Denton countered with 5-10 Sr. Makenzie Graham, 5-7 Jr. Emily Justice, 6-2 Sr. Shomari Kendrick, 5-4 Jr. Sarah Martin, and 5-2 Sr. Jariana Gillespie.

Lafayette scored 27 points from beyond the arc in a 52-30 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Lafayette shot 31.6% from the field including nine of 21 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 21 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 29.2% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on one of six free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored nine points off 20 Lafayette turnovers.

5-7 Fr. Kenyale Demus led Lafayette with 13 points including three three point baskets.  Emily Justice added 12 points including three three point baskets.  Shomari Kendrick recorded 11 points, 21 rebounds, and five steals.  Sarah Martin chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

Kristen Jacob led LCA with 12 points and eight rebounds.  Kelli Rinehart added six points and six rebounds.

The score was tied 36-36 after three quarters but Elizabethtown pulled away in the final quarter for a 55-46 victory.  Elizabethtown shot 53.1% from the field including three of six from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on 18 of 19 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored four points off eight Marion County turnovers.  Marion County shot 33.3% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Maroons connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Elizabethtown turnovers.

Natalie Greenwell led Elizabethtown with 21 points and five rebounds.  Greenwell was six of nine from the field including two of three from beyond the arc, and seven of seven from the free throw line.  Adelaide Luckett added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Makayla Epps led Marion County with 18 points including two three point baskets.  Kyvin Goodin-Rogers added 15 points.

Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Tamron Manning, 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-4 Jr. Tanner Shotwell, 5-10 So. Quin Richardson, and 6-1 Jr. Josh Harris.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Taylor Martin, 6-4 Sr. Scott Schuette, 6-5 Jr. Craig Floyd, 5-10 Jr. Brian Woomer, and 6-0 Sr. Seth Beckham.

Scott county captured a big road win with an 85-81 win over Lexington Catholic.  Scott County held a 42-34 halftime lead but Lexington Catholic roared back to lead 70-67 after three quarters. Scott County pulled away late to claim the victory.  There were 19 lead changes and seven ties in this contest.  Free throw shooting was Lexington Catholic’s Achilles’ Heel tonight as they could only manage 23 of 40 from the line.

Scott County shot 52.7% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 20 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 56.5% from the field including six of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 23 of 40 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Scott County turnovers.

Tanner Shotwell led Scott County with 19 points and eight rebounds.  Tamron Manning also scored 19 points.  Isaiah Ivey added 17 points.  Josh Harris also reached double figures with 12 points.

Scott Schuette led Lexington Catholic with 24 points including four three point baskets.  Taylor Martin added 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals.  Seth Beckham chipped in with 15 points and six rebounds.

Wayne County led 24-23 at halftime and broke the game open with a 24-8 run in the third quarter to defeat West Jessamine 72-52.  Wayne County shot 45.5% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 25 of 30 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 34.7% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Wayne County turnovers.

Austin Shearer led Wayne County with 20 points.  Dagan Shelton added 12 points including three three point baskets.  6-0 So. Kyle Gehring also tallied 12 points and Gavin Dunagan chipped in with 10 points.

Dylan Pohl led West Jessamine with 14 points.  Bradley Strait added 10 points and six rebounds.

Robbie Stenzel led GRC with 19 points including three three point baskets.  Vinny Zollo added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.  Corey Rogers chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds.  Jaylen Daniel also scored 14 points.  6-7 Sr. Travis Purvis also reached double figures with 11 points.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 27 points and 13 rebounds.  William Johnson added 10 points and six rebounds.

Monica McGreal led SHA with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Annamarie Campbell added 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Morgan Clemons chipped in with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.

China Dow led CAL with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists.  Paige Gardner and Kate Joss each scored seven points and Gardner pulled down seven rebounds.

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 50-31 halftime lead on their way to an 87-67 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar.  Dunbar shot 58.1% from the field including a blistering 68.8% in the first half but Lexington Catholic attempted 31 more shots (74-43) than Dunbar in the game.

Lexington Catholic shot 47.3% from the field including seven of 27 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 24 Dunbar turnovers.  Lexington Catholic held a 36-9 advantage in bench scoring.  Dunbar shot 58.1% from the field including four of eight from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

6-6 Jr. Patrick Keller led Lexington Catholic with 20 points.  Keller was nine of 10 from the field including one of one from beyond the arc and one of one from the free throw line.  Seth Beckham added 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and five steals.  Taylor Martin chipped in with 12 points and five steals.  Scott Schuette recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and five steals.

William Gary led Dunbar with 21 points.  Lamont Johnson added 20 points and seven rebounds.  Clay Coyle checked in with 11 points and seven assists.
