Scott County 36  Fern Creek 21 – The victorious Cardinals scored three touchdowns on fumble recovery returns to key their victory.

Manual 21  Male 14 – DarMonte Warr carried the ball 29 times for 181 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Crimsons.

Tates Creek 28  Woodford County 13 – Jontez Jones carried the ball 17 times for 149 yards and a touchdown and Martrell Berry threw TD strikes of 24 and 36 yards to Austin Crutcher to lead the Commodores to victory.

Collins 49  Madison Central 21 – QB Branden Cresap completed 19 of 27 passes for 412 yards and six touchdowns to lead Collins.

Henry Clay 41  Paul Dunbar 5 – Henry Clay rolled up 502 yards of total offense in tonight’s victory.

Pleasure Ridge Park 41  Central 7 – QB Spencer Sumpter led PRP with 303 passing yards and four touchdown passes.

East Jessamine 42  North Oldham 14 – Cameron Thomas carried the ball 25 times for 270 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Jaguars to victory.

North Hardin 31  Bryan Station 12 – Terrance Demery scored three touchdowns to lead North Hardin to victory.

Trinity 56  Lexington Catholic 7 – QB Travis Wright completed seven of eight passes for 190 yards and three touchdowns to lead Trinity in a rout of Lexington Catholic.

Hazard 41  Clay County 20 – QB Jon Combs threw touchdown passes for 23, 70, and 64 yards to lead Hazard to victory.

Anderson County 49  Spencer County 21 – Ethan Kelly scored on runs of 8, 9, and 5 yards, caught a 25 yard TD pass from Seth Carmichael, and returned a kickoff 90 yards for a score to lead the Bearcats to victory.

Tates Creek scored 21 unanswered points in the second quarter on their way to a 28-13 victory over Woodford County.  Tates Creek recorded 18 first downs and 400 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 16 times for 137 yards and lost four fumbles.  Woodford County recorded 15 first downs and 304 yards of total offense.  The Yellowjackets were penalized seven times for 61 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Jontez Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 149 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Brandon Shrout carried the ball 11 times for 60 yards and a touchdown.  Martrell Berry completed 11 of 19 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns.  Brandon Shrout caught four passes for 21 yards.  Austin Crutcher caught two passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Jamal Wagner led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 17 yards.  Dennis Oxendine recorded four solo tackles, one assisted tackle, and one pass interception.

Taylor Stakelin led Woodford County’s ground game with 56 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Matt Couch completed16 of 29 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Dan McWilliams caught six passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Rusher caught five passes for 33 yards.  Conrad Smart led the defense with three solo and six assisted tackles.  Chad Goodrich added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Jon Tuttle recovered two fumbles.

Collins’ QB Branden Cresap continued his aerial heroics this season with 412 yards and six touchdown passes in a 49-21 victory over Madison Central.  Collins recorded 17 first downs and 484 yards of total offense.  They were penalized four times for 25 yards and lost a fumble.  Madison Central recorded 14 first downs and 309 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized seven times for 55 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Logan Bailey led Collins’ ground game with 29 yards on 13 carries.  Branden Cresap completed 19 of 27 passes for 412 yards and six touchdowns.  Tavis Elzy caught eight passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns.  Ben Axline added seven receptions for 133 yards and three touchdowns.  Pierce Skinner led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles with 4.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 13 yards.  Jamar Stoner and Travis Kennon each recorded three solo and seven assisted tackles.

Jamez Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 96 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.  Darian Cox carried the ball 10 times for 94 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Ford completed two of eight passes for 28 yards with two interceptions.  Tyler Vonwechmar caught one pass for 19 yards.  George Walker led the defense with eight solo and two tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling nine yards.  Austin Coyle added two solo and five assisted tackles.

Bo Brooks led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 181 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Vinny Miller carried the ball 10 times for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Vinny Miller completed eight of 14 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Jerry Williams caught four passes for 33 yards.  Carwell Gardner caught three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.  Charles McCarty led the defense with four solo and 12 assisted tackles.  Ryan Smith added five solo tackles, three assisted tackles, and recovered a fumble.  Anthony Lindsey recorded 12 assisted tackles.

Tucker Lyles led Dunbar’s ground game with 37 yards on 14 carries.  Blake Martin completed one of six passes for 12 yards with two interceptions.  Dhrist. Allen completed one of three passes for 12 yards.  Jordan Wilkins caught two passes for 24 yards.  Brandyn Duncan led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Emory Thompson also recorded six solo and two assisted tackles.  Tucker Lyles added six solo tackles, one assisted tackle. and intercepted a pass with return yardage of 47 yards on the play.

Scott County’s defense came up big tonight as the Cardinals  returned three fumbles for touchdowns in a 36-21 victory over Fern Creek.  Scott County recorded 14 first downs and 213 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 53 yards and lost two fumbles.  Fern Creek recorded 19 first downs and 302 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 67 yards and lost three fumbles.

Josh Walls led Scott County’s ground game with 64 yards on five carries.  Ben Lawler completed five of seven passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns.  James Happy caught four passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns.  Blake Irvin led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles.  Avery Ford added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Jordan Kindred, Josh Walls, and Cody Campbell each scored a touchdown on returned fumble recoveries.  Jay Willmott punted once for 49 yards and kicked off six times with five touchbacks.

Jerrell Moore led Fern Creek’s ground game with 139 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.  Donovan Sims completed two of three passes for 25 yards.  Travon Spencer caught two passes for 25 yards.  Corey Boykin led the defense with four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 11 yards.  Khasi Jones and Ray Tobin each recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and Jones recovered a fumble.

Bryan Station 40  Paul Dunbar 24 – Bryan Station notched their first victory of the season behind three touchdown passes by Loran Smith and 121 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries by Elijah Bell.

Lexington Catholic 42  West Jessamine 26 – QB Kyle Bolin completed 20 of 27 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns with one interception and added 73 yards and a touchdown on six carries to lead the Knights to victory.

Scott County 47  Lafayette 20 – The Cardinals notched their sixth consecutive victory after an 0-3 start to the season.

Clark County 35  Madison Central 14 – Darius Skinner did it all for Clark County tonight with three interceptions, a 28 yard scoring reception, and a 73 yard punt return for a touchdown.

Lexington Christian Academy 41  Fairview 21 – LCA QB Scout McCamy led the Eagles carried the ball eight times for 152 yards to lead the Eagles to victory.

Trinity 55  Ballard 21 – James Quick caught a 10 yard touchdown pass and scored on an 80 yard kickoff return to lead the Shamrocks.

St. Xavier 27  Pleasure Ridge Park 21 – The Tigers rallied from a 21-7 halftime deficit to earn the victory.

Central 61  Shawnee 0 – Anthony Wales carried the ball 14 times for 403 yards and scored on runs of 3, 30, 74, 51, 6, and 55 yards to lead the Yellowjackets.

Eastern 50  Seneca 47 – RB Jon Davis led Eastern with 178 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries.

Anderson County 40  Oldham County 37 (OT) – Seth Carmichael scored on a 10 yard run in overtime to give the Bearcats the victory.  Carmichael completed 16 of 26 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions and carried the ball 11 times for 52 yards and two touchdowns.  Ethan Kelly also came up big for the Bearcats with 106 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Kelly also caught four passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Anderson County defeated Oldham County 40-37 in overtime.  The Bearcats led 34-21 after three quarters but Oldham County rallied to tie the game on an 18 yard pass from Austin Johnson to Brett Leary with 1:40 left in regulation.  The extra point attempt by Jake Weigel was blocked.  Oldham County took the lead 37-34 in overtime on a 28 yard field goal by Jake Weigel.  Anderson County then got the ball and won the game on a 10 yard run by Seth Carmichael.

Anderson County recorded 19 first downs and 451 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized 10 times for 98 yards, lost two fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.  Oldham County recorded 16 first downs and 353 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized eight times for 80 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Ethan Kelly led Anderson County’s ground game with 106 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Seth Carmichael carried the ball 11 times for 52 yards and two touchdowns.  Carmichael completed 16 of 26 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions.  Ethan Kelly caught four passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns.  Neal Wells caught three passes for 86 yards.  Travis Phillips led the defense with six solo and nine assisted tackles.  Spencer Ruggles added three solo and four assisted tackles and also intercepted a pass.

Brett Leary led Oldham County’s ground game with 153 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Tyler Oldham carried the ball 13 times for 57 yards.  Austin Johnson completed nine of 20 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Brett Leary caught four passes for 81 yards and a touchdown.  Jarrod Combs led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles.  Isaac Bowling recorded four solo tackles, three assisted tackles, and one interception.  Casey Sheehan added four solo tackles, one assisted tackle, and returned a recovered fumble 55 yards for a touchdown.

Bryan Station recorded their first victory with a 40-24 victory over Paul Dunbar.  Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 381 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized four times for 45 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted.  Paul Dunbar recorded 20 first downs and 349 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized five times for 33 yards and lost three fumbles.

Elijah bell led the Bryan Station ground game with 121 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.  LJ Warfield carried the ball 13 times for 52 yards.  Loran Smith added 51 yards on 15 carries.  Loran Smith completed five of 11 passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Tyriq Roberts caught two passes for 40 yards and a touchdown.  Tim Harden added one reception for 60 yards and a touchdown.  Everett Talbert led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Tim Hayden and Darrian Miller each recorded six solo tackles.

Blake Martin led Paul Dunbar’s ground game with 159 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.  Martin completed 11 of 20 passes for 141 yards.  Commodore caught four passes for 69 yards.  Cam Pergram added three receptions for 34 yards.  Jonathan Brown led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.  Brown also intercepted one pass.  Tucker Lyles recorded six solo and two assisted tackles.

Scott County defeated Lafayette tonight by a score of 47-20.  Lafayette scored on the last play of the game on an 87 yard pass play.  Scott County was 0-3 after their first three games but has won six in a row and appears to be peaking at the right time.  Scott County recorded 16 first downs and 403 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized three times for 25 yards and lost a fumble.  Lafayette recorded nine first downs and 228 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized five times for 25 yards.

The Scott County ground attack was led by Marcus Hill with 124 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries.  Ben Lawler completed seven of 11 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown.  James Happy caught four passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Walls had two receptions for 40 yards.  The Cardinal defense did an excellent job tonight keeping the high octane Lafayette aerial game in check.  Jordan Kindred led the defense with two solo and four assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 11 yards.  Josh Walls added three solo and one assisted tackles.  Jay Willmott kicked off eight times for an average of 58.6 yards with six touchbacks.

Marlon Johnson led Lafayette’s ground game with 57 yards on six carries.  Bubba Johnson carried the ball nine times for 54 yards and a touchdown.  Matt Britt completed seven of 21 passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.  Jeremy Smith completed his only attempted pass for 87 yards and a touchdown.  Marlon Johnson caught three passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.  Justin Carr led the defense with six solo and six assisted tackles.  Trey Benson added six solo and three assisted tackles.  Kyle Irvin recorded one solo and 10 assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 12 yards.

Lexington Catholic led 42-7 after three quarters on their way to a 42-26 victory over West Jessamine.  QB Kyle Bolin thew for four touchdowns, ran for another score and punted the ball four times for a 44.0 average for the victors.  Lexington Catholic recorded 16 first downs and 449 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 11 times for 154 yards, lost four fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.  West Jessamine recorded 10 first downs and 285 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized 14 times for 104 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Kyle Bolin led the Lexington Catholic ground game with 73 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Bolin completed 20 of 27 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns with one interception.  Adam Bush caught eight passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns.  Anthony Kersey added two receptions for 54 yards and two touchdowns.  Jordan Artrip led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 12 yards.  Mich. Vogelsang added five solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 16 yards.  Mike Lynch recorded five solo tackles, one assisted tackle, and intercepted two passes.

Matt Carbol led West Jessamine’s ground game with 58 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.  Carbol completed 15 of 27 passes for 211 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  Blake Davis caught four passes for 56 yards.  Will Knight added three receptions for 63 yards.  Sean Donaldson caught a 58 yard TD pass.  Hunter Knuckles led the defense with seven solo tackles.  Sean Donaldson added six solo tackles and recovered a fumble.  Robbie Irgang and Ethan Darby each recorded five solo tackles.  Irgang added a fumble recovery and Darby intercepted a pass.
