Central 42  Elizabethtown 35 – RB Anthony Wales ran for 270 yards and four touchdowns and added a touchdown reception to lead Central to victory.

Pleasure Ridge Park 29  Manual 28 (OT) – Marcus Brown ran for 213 yards including the TD and game winning two point conversion in overtime to lead PRP to victory.

Ballard 38  Eastern 21 – QB Mo Crawford completed 16 of 26 passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns to lead Ballard to victory.  DeVante Parker caught four passes for 144 yards including a 90 yard scoring reception.

St. Xavier 51  Butler 7 – St. Xavier scored 34 unanswered points in the second half to pull away for the victory.

Lafayette came from behind to defeat Dunbar 24-23.  Matt Britt threw a five yard touchdown to Trey Chester with seven minutes to tie the game at 23-23 and Matt Green kicked the extra point to give Lafayette a 24-23 lead in what would turn out to be the winning point.

Lafayette recorded 16 first downs and 297 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized five times for 40 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.  Dunbar recorded 15 first downs and 218 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized four times for 30 yards.

Bubba Johnson led Lafayette’s ground game with 57 yards on 11 carries.  Matt Britt completed 14 of 24 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Tanner Napier caught eight passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns.  Nick Jeter added two receptions for 56 yards.  Trey Benson led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles.  Jalen Wilkerson added four solo and four assisted tackles.

Tucker Lyles led Dunbar’s ground game with 78 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Blake Martin completed seven of 10 passes for 58 yards and one touchdown.  Jordan Gatewood caught five passes for 48 yards and one touchdown.  Andrew Quick led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles.  Tucker Lyles added three solo and four assisted tackles.

Scott County raced out to a 21-0 first quarter lead on their way to a 46-26 victory over Bryan Station tonight.  Scott County opened the season with three losses but has rebounded with four consecutive victories.  Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 392 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 11 times for 108 yards and lost two fumbles.  Bryan Station recorded 23 first downs and 361 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized eight times for 54 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Josh Walls led Scott County’s ground game with 64 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Kevo Edwards added 55 yards on six carries.  Dier. Dumphord carried the ball 10 times for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Ben Lawler completed seven of eight passes for 143 yards and one touchdown.  James Happy caught four passes for 81 yards.  Jay Willmott had eight kickoffs with six touchbacks.  Blake Irvin led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Cody Campbell recorded six solo tackles, two asssited tackles, and one interception.

Everett Talbert led Bryan Station’s ground game with 79 yards on 11 carries.  LJ Warfield carried the ball 10 times for 77 yards and a touchdown.  Loran Smith carried the ball 10 times for 67 yards.  Jaylin Johnson completed four of 10 passes for 50 yards with one interception.  Tyriq Roberts caught three passes for 45 yards.  Donte Richards led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles.  Jaysuma Webb added two solo and four assisted tackles.

Tates Creek defeated  Madison Central by a score of 33-25.  Tates Creek recorded 21 first downs and 408 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 60 yards and had three passes intercepted.  Madison Central recorded 11 first downs and 240 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized three times for 38 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Jontez Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 179 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.  Brandon Shrout added 99 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Dee Christopher completed five of 14 passes for 66 yards and a TD with three interceptions.  Austin Crutcher caught three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.  Aaron Mullins led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 14 yards.  Mullins also recovered a fumble.  Dennis Oxendine intercepted two passes.

Jamez Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 126 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Nick Ford completed six of 17 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Dre Goggins caught three passes for 36 yards.  Austin Coyle led the defense with seven solo tackles, three assisted tackles, and two interceptions.  Matt Withers added five solo and two assisted tackles.

Henry Clay defeated Clark County 54-35 despite Clark County holding a 547-424 advantage in total yardage.  Clark County ran 85 plays on offense compared to 37 for Henry Clay.  Vinny Miller proved to be the difference for Henry Clay as he scored three TDs on the ground, threw for two  more touchdowns, and scored on a 85 yard kickoff return.

Henry Clay recorded 16 first downs and 424 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized nine times for 147 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Clark County recorded 28 first downs and 547 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 11 times for 87 yards, and lost a fumble.

Vinny Miller led Henry Clay’s ground game with 131 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.  Vinny Miller completed nine of 11 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Blake Green caught six passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns.  Charles McCarty led the defense with 13 solo and four assisted tackles.  Anthony Mealy added seven solo and two assisted tackles.

Pokey Harris led Clark County’s ground attack with 112 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Andrew Dini carried the ball 13 times for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Andrew Dini completed 27 of 44 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns.  Corey Rogers caught 11 passes for 97 yards.  Darius Skinner added nine receptions for 112 yards and a TD.  Pokey Harris caught five passes for 81 yards and a touchdown.  Corey Rogers led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 11 yards.  Darius Skinner added four solo tackles.

Boyle County held a 513-167 advantage in total yardage and a 79-39 advantage in total plays on offense in a 42-10 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Boyle County recorded 29 first downs and 513 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized nine times for 118 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Lexington Catholic recorded 11 first downs and 167 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized five times for 52 yards, lost one fumble and had two passes intercepted.  Lexington Catholic was held to 35 yards on 22 rushing attempts.

Devon Cox led Boyle County’s ground attack with 136 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Lamar Dawson added 88 yards on 14 carries.  Devon Hale carried the ball 10 times for 86 yards and a TD.  Chris Cook recorded 67 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Devon Hale completed 11 of 20 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Clint Mason caught four passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.  Chris Cook led the defense with six solo tackles, two assisted tackles, and one interception.  Paul Megilligan added five solo tackles.

James Maddox led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 20 yards on six carries.  Kyle Bolin completed 11 of 17 passes for 132 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  Colby Colburn caught six passes for 101 yards and a touchdowns.  Will Childers led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles.  Adam Wachs recorded seven solo tackles, two assisted tackles, and one interception.

Six teams played in this event and were divided into two pools.  Pool A consisted of Team 1 (White) Coach Tony Paige, Team 2 (Blue) Coach Steve Bishop, Team 3 (Red) Coach Dan Nicely.  Pool B consists of Team 4 (Yellow) Coach Dan Nicely. Team 5 (Green) Coach Steve Bishop, and Team 6 (Maroon) Coach Cinda Catchings.
