2020 All ‘A’ Classic Championship

St. Henry coach David Faust started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Wyatt Vieth, 6-1 Sr. Luke Maher, 6-2 Jr. Jude Bessler, 5-9 Sr. Connor Shea, and 5-10 Sr. Alex Daniel.  Frankfort coach Chris O’Bryan countered with 6-2 Sr. Chaz Austin, 5-11 Sr. Will O’Bryan, 6-5 So. Jackson Twombly, 5-7 So. Jordan Blythe, and 5-8 Jr. Charles Ellis.

 

St. Henry connected on 22 of 26 free throws on their way to the championship and a 77-70 victory over Frankfort.  St. Henry led by 16 in the third quarter but Frank rallied to make the game close.  There were two ties and four lead changes in the game.  St. Henry shot 52.1% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Crusaders connected on 22 of 26 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Frankfort turnovers.  Frankfort shot 46.3% from the field including seven of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 St. Henry turnovers.

 

Wyatt Vieth led St. Henry with 30 points including two three point baskets, eight of eight free throws, six rebounds, and two assists.  5-10 Jr. Ryan Butler added 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists.  Jude Bessler recorded 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

 

Jackson Twombly led Frankfort with 17 points including two three point baskets, fove of six free throws, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Jordan Blythe added 14 points, four rebounds, and four assists.  Charles Ellis recorded 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Will O’Bryan chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.
