Spalding (GA) coach Tykira Gilbert stated the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Elicia Threatt, 5-9 Jr. Nuriyah Slaton, 6-0 Sr. Corriana Evans, 5-5 Jr. Kierstyn Milner, and 5-8 Sr. Jordan Davis.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-3 Sr. Malea Williams, 6-0 Jr. Kenady Tompkins, 6-3 Jr. Trencye Kenney, 5-5 Sr. Morgan DeFoor, and 6-0 Jr. Kaylie Wise.

Scott County outscored Spalding (GA) 15-9 in the final quarter to eke out a 70-67 victory. There were six lead changes and five ties in this game.  Scott County shot 42.9% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 17 of 28 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Spalding (GA) turnovers.  Spalding shot 33.8% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 29 Scott County turnovers.

Morgan DeFoor led Scott County with 36 points including three three point baskets, 11 of 14 free throws, five rebounds, four assists, and six steals.  Malea Williams added 16 points, 19 rebounds, and three blocked shots. 

Kierstyn Milner led Spalding (GA) with 19 points, three rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Elicia Threatt added 15 points and eight rebounds.  Nuriyah Slaton recorded 14 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.  Corriana Evans added 11 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
