Simon Kenton coach Jeff Stowers started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Morgan Stamper, 5-6 Jr. Kady Schawe, 6-0 So. Sereniti Webb, 5-6 Sr. Maggi Jones, and 5-9 Sr. Mattie Vickers.  Christian Academy of Louisville coach Cameron Pridemore countered with 6-0 Sr. Shelby Calhoun, 5-9 Jr. Sydney Raque, 5-10 Jr. Alexa Breedlove, 5-7 So. Jaya McClure, and 5-8 Sr. Mia Beam.

 

Christian Academy of Louisville captured the championship with a hard fought 49-46 victory over Simon Kenton.  The score was tied twice and there were four lead changes in the game.  CAL shot 42.5% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Simon Kenton turnovers.  Simon Kenton shot 40.4% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pioneers connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 CAL turnovers.

 

Shelby Calhoun , who was named Tournament MVP, led CAL with 14 points, nine rebounds, , four assists, and three steals.  Jaya McClure added 13 points including six of six free throws, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals. Alexa Breedlove chipped in with nine points.

 

Sereniti Webb led Simon Kenton with 15 points and three steals.  Morgan Stamper added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Maggi Jones recorded nine points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Mattie Vickers chipped in with six points and six rebounds.
