Tates Creek coach Matt Yates started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Caty Armishaw, 5-8 So. Joyce Mukalamusi, 5-8 Sr. Yasmeen Shalash, 5-5 So.Maddie Kauffman, and 5-7 Sr. Lateya Wilson.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Haley Lee countered with 5-9 Sr.Mackenzie Buckler, 5-9 Jr. Gracie Royalty, 6-0 Jr. Emilie Teall, 5-4 Fr. Marin Wills, and 5-6 So. Sophie Gabbert.

 

Tates Creek defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 55-47.  Tates Creek shot 36.5% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on 14 of 28 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 23 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 23.8% from the field including six of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 21 of 31 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.

 

Maddie Kauffman led Tates Creek with 15 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Lateya Wilson added 14 points and six rebounds.  Joyce Mukalamusi recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Caty Armishaw added six points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals.

 

Gracie Royalty led LCA with 14 points including eight of nine free throws, 16 rebounds, and two steals.  Sophia Gabbert added 14 points including four three point baskets.  Emilie Teall recorded 10 points, 13 rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals.
