Holmes coach Alissa Brown started the following lineup: 5-7 7th Grade Aaliyah Hayes. 5-6 So. Vaughntia Lee, 6-0 Sr. Raelle Hill, 5-3 Jr. Adrianna Lovell, and 5-6 Sr. Kamari Graham. Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-10 Fr. Lauren Thomas, 5-7 Sr. Kiya Thompson, 5-10 Sr. Grace Branchini, 5-2 Fr. Maddie Kaufman, and 5-5 So. Ravion Jackson.
Henry Clay defeated Holmes by a score of 66-45. Henry Clay shot 58.7% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off seven Holmes turnovers. Holmes shot 38.1% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bulldogs connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.
Kiya Thompson led Henry Clay with 34 points including five three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. 5-9 Fr. Amiya Jenkins added 12 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Grace Branchini recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.
Kamari Graham led Holmes with 19 points including two three point baskets. Raelle Hill added eight points and four rebounds.
