Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Marques Warrick, 6-1 Sr. Keaston Brown, 6-4 Sr. Harris Hawkins, 5-10 Sr. Scott Hersey, and 5-10 Sr. Ramond Jackson.  George Rogers Clark coach Josh Cook countered with 6-7 Sr. Brennan Canada, 6-3 Sr. Jehdon Jenkins, 6-7 Sr. Ben Jackson, 6-4 So. Jared Wellman, and 6-3 Sr. Jordan Graham.

 

Henry Clay led 45-29 in the third quarter but had to withstand a furious rally by George Rogers Clark to defeat the Cardinals 77-69 in overtime.  Henry Clay shot 43.8% from the field including 11 of 25 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 24 of 30 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 GRC turnovers.  GRC shot 49.1% from the field including seven of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Keaston Brown led Henry Clay with 21 points including two three point baskets, seven of seven free throws, four rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.  Harris Hawkins added 19 points and 15 rebounds.  Marques Warrick recorded 19 points including four three point baskets, five of six free throws, three rebounds, and three assists.  Ramond Jackson added 11 points including five of six free throws.

 

5-10 Jr. KJ Rucker led George Rogers Clark with 16 points including four three point baskets and three assists.  Jordan Graham added 15 points, four rebounds, and six assists.  Jared Wellman recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws.  Brennan Canada chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.  6-7 Jr. Lincoln Bush added nine points and eight rebounds.
