Ashland Blazer coach Jason Mays started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Ethan Hudson, 5-10 Jr. Justin Bradley, 6-3 Sr. Devaunte Robinson, 5-9 Sr. Hunter Mays, and 5-9 Fr. Ethan Sellars.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-2 Sr. Bryce Long, 6-1 Sr. Lorenzo Williams, 6-5 Jr. Terrin Hamilton, 5-9 Sr. Diablo Stewart, and 6-1 Sr. Glenn Covington.

 

Scott County scored 42 points off 22 Ashland Blazer turnovers in an 87-57 victory tonight.  Scott County shot 61.3% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and held a 62-12 advantage in points scored in the paint.  Ashland Blazer shot 45.9% from the field including 10 of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Blazers connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored eight points off six Scott county turnovers.

 

Glenn Covington led Scott County with 17 points including two three point baskets and five steals.  Bryce Long added 16 points and three steals.  Lorenzo Williams recorded 15 points and five rebounds.  Terrin Hamilton added 12 points and four rebounds.

 

Hunter Mays led Ashland Blazer with 20 points including six three point baskets and five rebounds.  Devaunte Robinson added 16 points including 12 of 14 free throws.
