Eastern Kentucky University coach A.W. Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-8 Fr. Tre King, 6-2 Jr. Kelvin Robinson, 6-9 Sr. Nick Mayo, 5-10 Jr. Dujuanta Weaver, and 6-2 Fr. Jomaru Brown.  Belmont University coach Rick Byrd countered with 6-8 Fr. Caleb Hollander, 6-8 Sr. Dylan Windler, 6-11 Fr. Nick Muszynski, 6-2 Fr. Grayson Murphy, and 6-3 Sr. Kevin McClain.

Belmont University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by a score of 109-93.  Belmont University shot 55.9% from the field including 11 of 23 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 32 of 40 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 45.2% from the field including 14 of 35 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Belmont turnovers.

Kevin McClain led Belmont with 28 points including two three point baskets, 12 of 15 free throws, five rebounds, and six assists.  Dylan Windler added 23 points including four three point baskets, five of six free throws, 10 rebounds, and four assists.  Grayson Murphy recorded 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Nick Muszynski added 14 points and nine rebounds.

Nick Mayo led Eastern Kentucky with 26 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists.  Jomaru Brown added 17 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Dujuanta Weaver recorded 15 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.  6-4 Fr. Houston King chipped in with 13 points including three three point baskets.
