Lexington Christian Academy coach Haley Lee started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Grace Combs, 5-9 Jr. Mackenzie Buckler, 5-9 So. Gracie Royalty, 5-5 Jr. Jaylin McClanahan, and 5-7 Sr. Brooke Allison.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-10 Jr. Jekauri McKeithen, 5-7 Jr. Taleya Todd, 5-9 Sr. Logan Hudson, 5-6 Sr. Kelsey Powell, and 5-6 Sr. Madison Barnard.

 

Madison Central trailed 18-15 at halftime but outscored Lexington Christian Academy 21-5 in the third quarter on their way to a 48-37 victory.  Madison Central shot 30.2% from the field including zero of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 23 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 29.2% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Jekauri McKeithen led Madison Central with 23 points and 13 rebounds.  Taleya Todd added 17 points including seven of nine free throws, four rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.  Kelsey Powell recorded eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Madison Barnard added two points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

 

Gracie Royalty led Lexington Christian Academy with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  5-6 Fr. Sophia Gabbert added nine points on three three point baskets.  Grace Combs recorded eight points, five rebounds, six assists, and five steals.  Mackenzie Buckler added four points and six rebounds.
