Kentucky Christian coach Akeem Scott started the following lineup: 6-7 Fr. Travis Weaver, 6-3 Fr. Nicholas Smith, 6-8 Fr. Juran Ligonde, 6-1 Jr. Owens Crawford, and -2 So. Austin Robinson.  Eastern Kentucky coach A.W. Hamilton in his first game as the Colonels’ head coach countered with 6-5 So. Peyton Broughton, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Oakley, 6-9 Sr. Nick Mayo, 5-10 Jr. Dujuanta Weaver, and 6-2 Jr. Kelvin Robinson.

Eastern Kentucky University connected on 15 three point baskets and had eight players in double figures in a 136-92 victory over Kentucky Christian.  Eastern Kentucky shot 55.8% from the field including 15 of 33 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 25 of 42 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 26 Kentucky Christian turnovers .Eastern Kentucky led Kentucky Christian in bench scoring 63-55.

6-8 Jr. Lachlan Anderson led the victors with 26 points including five three point baskets and 16 rebounds.  Anderson was eight of 11 from the field including five of five from beyond the arc and five of nine free throws.  Dujuanta Weaver added 17 points including five three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Jordan Oakley recorded 16 points and eight rebounds.  Kelvin Robinson also scored 16 points and pulled down six rebounds and dished out six assists.  6-2 Fr. Jomaru Brown added 16 points and four assists. Peyton Broughton chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds.  6-4 Fr. Houston King also reached double figures with 10 points.  Nick Mayo was saddled with foul problems but added 10 points, three rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  6-8 Fr. Tre King chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.

6-0 So. Mason Blair led Kentucky Christian with 26 points including four three point baskets.  6-0 So. Connor Maddox added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Owens Crawford recorded 11 points and four assists.  Juran Ligonde added nine points and five rebounds.
