Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson Jr. started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Eric Boone, 6-2 Sr. Terrance Clayton-Murphy, 6-2 Jr. Jalen Burbage, 5-11 Fr. Myles Morones, and 5-11 Jr. Kendrick Curry. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-2 Sr. Cooper Robb, 6-1 Jr. Bryce Long, 6-7 Jr. Michael Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Diablo Stewart, and 5-11 Jr. Glenn Covington.
Scott County pulled away in the second half to defeat Bryan Station by a score of 65-47. There were four lead changes and two ties in the game. Scott County shot 41.7% from the field including three of 19 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 29.4% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on 15 of 29 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Scott County turnovers.
Diablo Stewart led Scott County with 16 points including two three point baskets. Michael Moreno added 13 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Cooper Robb recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Bryce Long also scored 13 points.
Eric Boone led Bryan Station with 18 points, 19 rebounds, and two steals. Terrance Clayton-Murphy added 13 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.
