Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Abby Wright, 5-8 So. Shay Solomon, 6-3 Sr. Madison Wood, 5-6 Fr. Teri Goodlett, and 5-8 Jr. A’Queen Hayes.  Murray State coach Rechelle Turner countered with 6-0 Fr. Brianna Crane, 6-0 Jr. Abria Gulledge, 6-1 Sr. Ke’Shaun James, 5-8 Sr. Jasmine Borders, and 5-9 Fr. Janika Griffith-Wallace.

Murray State University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by a score of 75-68.  Murray State shot 42% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line.  The Racers connected on 26 of 28 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 45.6% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Murray State turnovers.

Ke’Shaun James led Murray State with 25 points including seven of seven free throws, eight rebounds, and three steals.  5-11 Sr. Bria Bethea added 19 points including three three point baskets and six of seven free throws.  Janika Griffith-Wallace recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.  Brianna Crane chipped in with six points and six rebounds.

A’Queen Hayes led Eastern Kentucky with 25 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Abby Wright added 21 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  5-11 Fr. Bria Bass recorded 12 points and four rebounds.
