Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale started the following lineup: 6-6 So. DeAndre Dishman, 6-5 Fr. AJ Youngman, 6-9 Jr. Nick Mayo, 5-10 So. DuJuanta Weaver, and 6-4 Fr. Dedric Boyd.  Austi Peay State University coach Matt Figger countered with 6-5 Fr. Terry Taylor, 6-5 Jr. Chris Porter-Bunton, 6-7 Sr. Averyl Ugba, 5-11 Sr. Tre’ Ivory, and 6-2 Fr. Dayton Gumm.

 

Austin Peay State University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by a score of 90-84.  Austin Peay shot 50% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Governors connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 51.6% from the field including nine of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Austin Peay turnovers.

 

Terry Taylor led Austin Peay with 19 points and 12 rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Steve Harris added 15 points.  Averyl Ugba recorded 13 points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Chris Porter-Bunton also scored 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  6-0 Jr. Zach Glotta chipped in with 11 points and Dayton Gumm added 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.

 

Dedric Boyd led Eastern Kentucky with 27 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds.  DeAndre Dishman added 15 points and eight rebounds.  Nick Mayo recorded 14 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.
