Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Eric Powell, 6-1 Sr. Cameron King, 6-9 So. Ray Suratt, 5-10 Jr. Evan Dreux, and 5-11 Sr. Fousseyni Diallo. Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-7 Sr. Carter Hendricksen, 6-7 Jr. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Sr. Austin Hall, 6-0 Jr. Pearce Dalton, and 6-2 Jr. Will Hacker.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Lafayette by a score of 71-56. Lexington Christian Academy shot 56.8% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 41.2% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Generals connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 LCA turnovers.
Austin Hall led Lexington Christian Academy with 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and four blocked shots. Kyle Rode added 19 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Carter Hendrickson recorded 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
6-2 Jr. TeAndre Newcomb led Lafayette with 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Ray Suratt also scored 11 points. 6-1 Sr. Devontae Hayes recorded eight points and six rebounds.
