Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Eric Boone, 6-2 Sr. Terrance Clayton-Murphy, 6-2 Jr. Jalen Burbage, 5-11 Fr. Myles Morones, and 5-11 Jr. Kendrick Curry. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-1 Jr. Bryce Long, 6-0 Jr. Lorenzo Williams, 6-7 Jr. Michael Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Diablo Stewart, and 5-11 Jr. Glenn Covington.
Scott County sent a message tonight to the rest of the 11th region teams with a dominating 105-65 victory over Bryan Station. Scott County shot a sizzling 62.1% from the field including 13 of 30 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 10 of 10 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 12 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 39% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.
Michael Moreno led Scott County with 28 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocked shots. Diablo Stewart added 22 points including five three point baskets, 10 assists, and three steals. Lorenzo Williams recorded 18 points including six of six free throws. 5-8 Jr. Cam Fluker chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and eight assists.
Eric Boone led Bryan Station with 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Jalen Burbage added 13 points including three three point baskets. Terrance Clayton-Murphy chipped in with 12 points.
