Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Peyton Riddle, 5-10 Jr. Maaliya Owens, 5-10 Sr. Zakiyia Holt, 5-5 Jr. Juliette Smith, and 5-5 So. Morgan DeFoor.  DuPont Manual coach Jeff Sparks countered with 5-11 Sr. Aniah Griffin, 5-6 So. Jeanay Riley, 6-1 Jr. Nila Blackford, 5-2 Sr. Tyonne Howard, and 5-5 So. Anna Littlefield.

Scott County outscored Manual 31-3 in the third quarter to take control of the game on their way to a 76-53 victory.  Scott County shot 42.9% from the field including 13 of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 29% from the field including one of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

Maaliya Owens led Scott County with 24 points including five three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Morgan DeFoor added 23 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Peyton Riddle recorded 18 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds.  Juliette Smith added five points, four rebounds, eight assists, and two steals.

Nila Blackford led Manual with 17 points and 12 rebounds.  Tyonne Howard added nine points, four rebounds, and two steals.  Aniah Griffin recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.
