Eastern Illinois coach Matt Bollant started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Grace McRae, 5-9 Fr. Taylor Steele, 6-0 Fr. Jennifer Nehls, 5-8 Fr. Karle Pace, and 5-8 Fr. Danielle Berry.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 6-0 Jr. Joya Smith, 5-11 Fr. Bria Bass, 6-2 Jr. Madison Pierce, 5-8 Jr. A’Queen Hayes, and 5-6 Fr. Teri Goodlett.

Eastern Kentucky University defeated Eastern Illinois by a score of 67-51.  Eastern Kentucky shot 44.1% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight Eastern Illinois turnovers.  Eastern Illinois shot 28.1% from the field including eight of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Bria Bass led Eastern Kentucky University with 25 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  A’Queen Hayes added 20 points, 16 rebounds, and five assists.  Teri Goodlett chipped in with seven points, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Madison Pierce recorded four points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Joya Smith added five points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots. 

6-2 So. Halle Stull led Eastern Illinois with 16 points including four three point baskets.  Taylor Steele added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Karle Pace recorded nine points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  5-10 Jr. Jalisha Smith pulled down seven rebounds.
