East Jessamine coach Todd Claunch started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Jalynn Landversicht, 5-6 Sr. Jessica Hall, 5-7 Jr. Sydney Poor, 5-3 Jr. Jasmine Atkerson, and 5-5 So. Aimee Hagins.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Jr. Macey Goff, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Bennett, 5-9 Sr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-3 Sr. Terri Abram, and 5-7 Jr. Lindi DeBilzan.

 

Lafayette defeated East Jessamine by a score of 74-54.  Lafayette shot 51.9% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 12 of 18 from the free throw line, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 21 East Jessamine turnovers.  East Jessamine shot 36.5% from the field including seven of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 22 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 25 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  Lindi DeBilzan added 17 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and five assists.  Tekiya Garr-Carter recorded 11 points and four rebounds.  Macey Goff pulled down eight rebounds and Terri Abram recorded four points, seven rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.

 

Jalynn Landversicht led East Jessamine with 32 points including two three point baskets.  5-7 Fr. Star Lewis added seven points and Jasmine Atkerson recorded six points and eight rebounds.
