Madison Central vs. Casey County (Girls)

Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey started the following lineup: 5-7 Taleya Todd, 5-7 Sr. Blaze Pacheco, 5-10 So. Je’Kauri McKeithen, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Vanover, and 5-6 Jr.  Madison Barnard.  Casey County coach Tara Weddle countered with 5-6 So. Gena Cravens, 5-6 So. Jordyn Stephens, 5-8 So. Natalie Duggins, 5-5 So. Lauren Lee, and 5-6 Sr. Myla McGowan.

 

Casey County defeated Madison Central by a score of 66-36.  Casey County shot 41.9% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Rebels connected on seven of seven free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 27.7% from the field including zero of nine from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 10 of 27 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored three points off 10 Casey County turnovers.

 

Lauren Lee led Casey County with 15 points including two three point baskets.  Natalie Duggins added 13 points, seven rebounds, and six steals.  Gena Cravens recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.  5-9 So. Haley Brock added 1o points and five rebounds.  5-10 So. Shaylah Wilkey chipped in with six points and nine rebounds.

 

Bailey Vanover led Madison Central with 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Je’Kauri McKeithen added seven points and six rebounds.  Madison Barnard also scored seven points.
