Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Harris Hawkins, 6-1 Sr. Jalen Williams. 6-4 Sr. Andreus Green, 5-10 So. Marquez Warrick, and 6-0 Jr. Keaston Brown. Eastern coach David Henley countered with 6-0 Sr. Nathan Jackson, 5-10 Jr. Jacob Robinson, 6-4 Jr. Ethan Coury, 5-9 So. Myles Goodrich, and 5-10 Fr. Ben Craig.
Henry Clay utilized a balanced scoring attack with five players scoring in double figures to defeat Eastern by a score of 80-59. Henry Clay shot 48.3% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line. The Blue Devils connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Eastern turnovers. Eastern shot 39.2% from the field including eight of 27 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 10 points off six Henry Clay turnovers.
Andreus Green led Henry Clay with 14 points. Jalen Williams added 13 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Marquez Warrick also scored 13 points including two three point baskets, 5-9 Jr. Ramond Jackson recorded 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Keaston Brown added 10 points, four rebounds, and seven assists. Harris Hawkins chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds. 6-5 So. Jackson Phillips scored six points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
6-0 Sr. Banabas Ojo led Eastern with 13 points including three three point baskets. Myles Goodrich added 12 points. Ethan Coury recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. Jacob Robinson chipped in with nine points including seven of 10 free throws.
