Corbin coach Tony Pietrowski countered with 6-4 Sr. Andrew Taylor, 6-3 So. Matthew Taylor, 6-5 Jr. Jacob Unthank, 6-0 Sr. Chandler Stewart, and 6-1 So. Alex Byrley.
Corbin defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 61-54. There were five lead changes and six ties in this game. The Redhounds connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 40.7% from the field including five of 24 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored one point of nine Corbin turnovers.
Andrew Taylor led Corbin with 19 points and eight rebounds. Alex Byrley added 17 points and seven rebounds. Matthew Taylor recorded 12 points and six rebounds.
Carter Hendrickson led LCA with 18 points including three three point baskets and 15 rebounds. Austin Hall added 14 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Rode recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and nine assists. Will Hacker also scored 10 points.
