Eastern coach Josh Leslie started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Mikayla Kinnard, 5-8 Jr. Kiara Pearl, 5-11 Jr. Devin Beach, 5-5 Sr. Breanna Anthony, and 5-6 Sr. Brea Mishler.  DuPont Manual coach Jeff Sparks countered with 5-11 Sr. Aniah Griffin, 5-6 So. Jenay Riley, 6-1 Jr. Nila Blackford, 5-2 Sr. Tyonne Howard, and 5-5 Sr. Jaela Johnson.

Eastern defeated Manual 70-66 in a very competitive, hard fought game.  There were 19 lead changes and 11 ties.  Eastern shot 33.3% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 24 of 33 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 33.3% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Eastern turnovers.

Kiara Pearl led Eastern with 22 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Brea Mishler added 16 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Mikayla Kinnard recorded 13 points including seven of eight free throws, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Devin Beach added six points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Jaela Johnson led Manual with 24 points including three three point baskets, 11 of 12 free throws, and three steals.  Tyonne Howard added 12 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Nila Blackford recorded 11 points, 18 rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals.
