Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Lindsey Duvall, 5-8 Jr. Kathleen Scott, 5-9 Sr. Kirstie Henn, 5-5 Sr. Lauren Masden, and 5-6 Sr. Alyssa Peak.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 Jr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Jr. Kia Sivils, 5-9 Jr. Natalie Fichter, 5-5 Jr. Kiki Samsel, and 5-7 Sr. Danielle Wethington.

 

Sacred Heart Academy outscored Bullitt East 28-19 in the final quarter to earn a 78-72 victory.  There were 13 lead changes and eight ties in this game.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 53.7% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 43.5% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.  5-5 So. Ashlee Harris added 15 points including four three point baskets.  6-0 Fr. Kristen Clemons recorded 14 points on seven of seven field goals, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Kiki Samsel chipped in with nine points.

 

Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 22 points including four three point baskets, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Kirstie Henn added 22 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Alyssa Peak recorded 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Kathleen Scott chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
