Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Macey Goff, 5-9 So. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-9 Jr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-6 Jr. Terri Abram, and 5-9 Jr. Caroline Bennett.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Kent Miller countered with 5-8 Jr. Payton Rogers, 5-8 So. Grace Combs, 5-8 Sr. Charis Hill, 5-5 So. Bethany Selby, and 5-7 Fr. Mackenzie Buckler.

 

Lafayette defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 61-41.  Lafayette shot 32.8% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 31.8% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 17 points including five three point baskets, five rebounds, and three steals.  Lindi DeBilzan added 13 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Terri Abram recorded nine points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Tekiya Garr-Carter chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.  Macey Goff added six points and five rebounds.

 

Bethany Selby led LCA with 15 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.  Grace Combs also scored 15 points including two three point baskets.  Payton Rogers pulled down nine rebounds.
