Clinton County coach Todd Messer started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Colin Langford, 6-0 Sr. Kyle Choate, 6-3 So. Jackson Harlan, 5-8 Sr. Jamison Summers, and 5-10 Sr. Brett Gibson. Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry countered with 6-0 Sr. Noah Marshall, 6-2 Sr. Bryar Rose, 6-2 Sr. Michael Jefferson, 5-9 Jr. Shawn Short, and 6-0 Sr. Caleb Miller.
Madison Southern defeated Clinton County by a score of 73-53. Madison Southern shot 58.3% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. They connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Clinton County turnovers. Clinton County shot 37.8% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Madison Southern turnovers.
Shawn Short led Madison Southern with 21 points including four three point baskets and five of six free throws. Bryar Rose added 16 points. Caleb Miller chipped in with 12 points. Michael Jefferson recorded seven points, six rebounds, 11 assists, and three steals. Noah Marshall added 11 rebounds and three blocked shots.
Colin Langford led Clinton County with 11 points and six rebounds. Brett Gibson also scored 11 points including three three point baskets. Jackson Harlan recorded 10 points and six rebounds. Jamison Summers chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and four assists.
