Scott coach Steven Fromeyer started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Jaycob Pouncy, 5-8 Jr. Nelson Perrin, 5-10 Sr. Tim Jolly, 5-10 So. Chad Ohmer, and 5-10 Sr. Jake Ohmer.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 5-10 Sr. Jajuante Carpenter, 5-10 Jr. Eric Powell, 6-1 Sr. Cameron Greenup, 5-9 Sr. Chris Wharton, and 5-10 So. Evan Dreux.

 

Evan Dreux hit a shot in the closing seconds to give Lafayette a 73-71 victory over Scott.  Scott had a final shot for the tie of victory but missed the attempt.  Scott trailed 55-45 after three quarters but rallied in the final quarter.  Lafayette shot 41.2% from the field including seven of 31 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 24 Scott turnovers.  Scott shot 54% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 19 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Eric Powell led Lafayette with 15 points including two three point baskets.  6-1 Jr. Cameron King added 14 points including two three point baskets.  Evan Dreux recorded 13 points including two three point baskets.  6-1 Jr. Devontae Hayes chipped in with 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Jajuante Carpenter added 11 points. 

 

Jake Ohmer led Scott with 22 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and four steals.  Chad Ohmer added 17 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Jaycob Pouncy recorded 13 points including two three point baskets.
