Bryan Station vs. Scott County (Girls)

Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Emoni Washington, 5-6 Sr. Carah Burdette, 5-8 Sr. Jazmyn Burtes, 5-5 Jr. Kyrah Hardin, and 5-5 Sr. Jlyn Martin.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle, 5-10 So. Maaliya Owens. 5-11 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-5 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-8 Sr. Kadee Hudson.

 

Scott County defeated Bryan Station by the score of 70-62.  Scott County shot 38.5% from the field including two of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 28.3% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on 26 of 38 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored five points off 13 Scott County turnovers.

 

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists.  Maaliya Owens added 16 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  Morgan DeFoor chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Lauren Boehm recorded seven points and 10 rebounds.

 

Carah Burdette led Bryan Station with 25 points including 16 of 26 free throws and six rebounds.  Emoni Washington added 20 points and eight rebounds.  Jlyn Martin chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
