Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-2 Jr. Dustin Geralds, 5-11 Sr. Alex Mayes, 6-7 So. Isaiah Cozart, 5-8 Sr. KJ Long, and 5-10 Jr. Jacori Miller.
Madison Central defeated Bryan Station by a score of 62-51. Madison Central shot 44.7% from the field including two of seven from the three point line. The Indians connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 32.3% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 19 Madison Central turnovers.
Isaiah Cozart led Madison Central with 23 points, 15 rebounds, and six blocked shots. Cozart was nine of 11 from the field and five of seven from the free throw line. Dustin Geralds also scored 23 points and pulled down eight rebounds. 5-10 Jr. Isaiah Minter chipped in with eight points and four assists.
David Demarcus led Bryan Station with 17 points and four rebounds. Terrance Clayton-Murphy added 14 points and six rebounds. Eric Boone recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and nine steals.
