St. Henry coach Dave Faust started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Logan Beechem, 5-11 Jr. Ethan Berling, 6-1 Jr. Michael Schaefer, 5-9 Jr. Mitch McArtor, and 5-10 Sr. Stephen Maley. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Zan Payne, 6-3 Jr. TC Price, 6-7 Sr. Peter Whitman, 6-2 Sr. Blake Scott, and 6-3 Sr. Luke Johnson.
Lexington Catholic defeated St. Henry by a score of 79-56. Lexington Catholic shot 44.6% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 St. Henry turnovers. St. Henry shot 42.9% from the field including seven of 13 from beyond the arc. The Crusaders connected on seven of seven free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored six points off eight Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Luke Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 20 points, four rebounds, five assists, and five steals. Peter Whitman added 14 points and nine rebounds. Zan Payne recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds. Blake Scott also scored 11 points including three three point baskets.
Stephen Maley led St. Henry with 17 points including five three point baskets. 6-1 So. Quentin Baker added 11 points and seven rebounds. Logan Beechem chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.
