Johnson Central coach Darrin Rice started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Lauren Preston, , 5-9 Sr. Lauryn Salyer, 5-9 Sr. Cheyenne Ross, 5-6 Sr. Ali May, and 5-4 So. Alaina Castle.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-10 Sr. Lindsey Johns, 5-10 Sr. Charity Mack, 6-0 Sr. Mallie Cornett, 5-4 Jr. Bailee Vanover, and 5-7 Sr. Kasi Schneid.

 

Madison Central outscored Johnson Central 20-7 in the third quarter on their way to a 7-55 victory over Johnson Central.  Madison Central shot 57.8% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 10 Johnson Central turnovers.  Johnson Central shot 37.5% from the field including five of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Lindsey Johns led Madison Central with 23 points including five three point baskets.  Mallie Cornett added 20 points, five rebounds, and nine blocked shots.  Cornett was eight of eight from the field and four of six from the free throw line.  Bailee Vanover recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Kasi Schneid chipped in with nine points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

 

Lauren Preston led Johnson Central with 12 points and four rebounds.  5-8 So. Hannah Fitch added 10 points.  Cheyenne Ross chipped in with seven points.
