Lexington Christian Academy coach Kent Miller started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Payton Rogers, 5-8 So. Grace Combs, 5-8 Sr. Charis Hill, 5-7 Fr. Jaylin McClanahan, and 5-7 Sr. Sydney Weeks.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-7 So. Jay Ballard, 5-7 So. Maylo Given, 5-9 Jr. Maya Jazdzewski, 5-2 Jr. Olivia Haines, and 5-5 Jr. Ashley Frebis.

Lexington Catholic’s Ashley Frebis scored on a put back with three seconds remaining in overtime to give Lexington Catholic a 32-30 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Lexington Catholic led 10-0 in the first period by Lexington Christian Academy fought back and the game remained close throughout the second half.  There were two lead changes and four ties in this game. 

Lexington Catholic shot 23.4% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 22.2% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Maya Jazdzewski led Lexington Catholic with nine points and six rebounds.  Maylo Given added seven points and 13 rebounds.  Ashley Frebis recorded seven points, five rebounds, and three assists. 

Sydney Weeks led LCA with 12 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Grace Combs added nine points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Payton Rogers pulled down nine rebounds and dished out four assists.
