Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Carter Hendricksen, 6-6 So. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Jr. Austin Hall, 6-0 Jr. Chandler Stewart, and 6-2 Sr. Nathan Harper.  Corbin coach Tony Pietrowski countered with 6-3 So. Chase Sanders, 6-3 Jr. Andrew Taylor, 6-4 Sr. Conner Hopkins, 5-11 Sr. Zach Maguet, and 6-2 Sr. Tanner Barnes.

 

Lexington Christian Academy led 36-19 in the second quarter but Corbin rallied to take a 46-44 lead after three quarters.  However, LCA outscored the Redhounds 17-6 in the final quarter to earn a 61-52 victory.  LCA shot 44.4% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 12 Corbin turnovers.  Corbin shot 42% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Redhounds connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 LCA turnovers.

 

Kyle Rode led LCA with 14 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  Chandler Stewart added 13 points and seven rebounds.  Carter Hendricksen recorded 11 points and six rebounds.  Nathan Harper chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, and four steals.  Austin Hall added eight points and four rebounds.

 

Andrew Taylor led Corbin with 27 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Zach Maguet added six points on two three point baskets and Chase Sanders pulled down six rebounds.
