Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale started the following lineup: 6-7 Jr. Zach Charles, 6-6 Fr. Marlon Adams, 6-9 So. Nick Mayo, 5-11 Fr. Asante Gist, and 6-2 Sr. Isaac McGlone.  Ball State coach James Whitford countered with 6-6 Sr. Franko House, 6-6 Sr. Ryan Weber, 6-9 So. Trey Moses, 6-3 So. Tayler Persons, and 6-6 Jr. Sean Sellers.

Ball State defeated Eastern Kentucky University 91-86 in overtime.  The score was tied 19 times and there were 18 ties in the game.  Ball State shot 45.3% from the field including 10 of 28 from the three point line.  They connected on 23 of 32 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 45.8% from the field including 11 of 33 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 15 Ball State turnovers.

Sean Sellers led Ball State with 32 points including seven three point baskets.  Tayler Persons added 21 points, five rebounds, nine assists and five steals.  Trey Moses recorded 18 points and 14 rebounds.  Franko House chipped in with nine points and 12 rebounds.

Asante Gist led Eastern Kentucky with 19 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Nick Mayo added 17 points and six rebounds.  5-11 Jr. Dillon Avare recorded 15 points on five three point baskets.  6-5 Fr. DeAndre Dishman added 12 points and six rebounds.  Marlon Adams chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds.
