Grant County coach Shawn West started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Shelby Gutman, 5-6 Fr. Abby West, 6-1 Jr. Lindsey Kinard, 5-4 Sr. Tiana Thornberry, and 5-5 So. Bryan Ezell.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle, 5-9 Sr. Kadee Hudson, 6-0 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-6 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-9 So Maaliya Owens.

 

Scott County led 31-9 after one quarter on their way to a 64-38 victory over Grant County.  Scott County shot 37.7% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 19 of 27 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 24 Grant County.  Grant County shot 27.3% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Braves connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Scott County turnovers.

 

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 23 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds.  Lauren Boehm added 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Maaliya Owens chipped in with nine points.

 

Bryan Ezell led Grant County with seven points.  Tiana Thornberry added six points.  5-3 Sr. Shania Young recorded five points and six rebounds.
