Owensboro Catholic defeated Glasgow by a score of 26-16. Owensboro Catholic recorded 10 first downs and 162 yards of total offense. The Aces were penalized three times for 14 yards and lost a fumble. Glasgow recorded five first downs and 72 yards of total offense. The Scotties were penalized four times for 39 yards and lost four fumbles.
Harold Hogg led Owensboro Catholic’s ground game with 101 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. Clayton Lewis completed three of five passes for 41 yards. Harold Hogg caught three passes for 41 yards. Aaron Buckman led the defense with eight solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an eight yard loss and recovered a fumble. Chris Boarman added four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards. Harold Hogg recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Hogg recovered two fumbles and returned on fumble 10 yards for a touchdown. Clayton Lewis also recovered a fumble.
Ty Mitchell led Glasgow’s ground game with 44 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Max Wilson carried the ball eight times for 35 yards. Jamarri Haskins completed six of 10 passes for 29 yards. Carter McKeever caught two passes for 20 yards. Damario Austin added two receptions for nine yards. Max Wilson returned one kickoff for 47 yards. Mason Bragg led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles. Max Wilson added four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Ty Mitchell recorded five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards and recovered a fumble he returned 38 yards for a touchdown.
