Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Tanner Kidwell, 6-0 Jr. Caleb Miller, 6-3 Sr. Griffen Gabbard, 5-9 Sr. Brandon Sargent, and 6-0 Jr. Michael Jefferson.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Sr. Leander Ridgeway, 6-4 Sr. Jordan Jones, 6-5 Sr. Jordan Houston, 5-9 Sr. Jaquise Simpson, and 6-1 Sr. Isaiah Tisdale.

Henry Clay pulled away late to defeat Madison Southern by a score of 76-62.  The score was tied five times and there were four lead changes in the game.  Henry Clay shot 55.6% from the field including 11 of 20 from the three point line.  The Blue devils connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored four points off six Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 40% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.

5-10 Sr. Paul Price led Henry Clay with 22 points including six three point baskets.  Isaiah Tisdale added 17 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.  Leander Ridgeway recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

Tanner Kidwell led Madison Southern with 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Michael Jefferson added 15 points, four assists, and three steals.  Caleb Miller also scored 15 points.
